CURT Manufacturing focuses on being first-to-market with our new custom fit hitch designs. CURT is the only hitch company in the industry that mechanically de-scales all of our hitches before applying a thick powder coat finish leaving an attractive high-gloss, smooth surface. You will have no worries about your product rusting, as CURT features WeatherTite™ construction which seals the main body of the hitch. All CURT hitches come with mounting hardware and easy to follow installation instructions. Our class 1 hitches have a 1 1/4 In. receiver opening, and rate up to 2,000 Lbs. gross trailer weight (GTW) and 200 Lbs. tongue weight (TW). This Trailer Hitch includes a standard CURT ball mount with a pin and clip. We're so confident in the quality of our trailer hitches that we back them up with a limited lifetime warranty and a one year finish warranty.

4Easy to install
By Robert Hanson
Receive package surprising fast (within two days).1) When over to DIY garage over in Eden Prairie so I could left my 2005 Cadillac STS to installed the trailer hitch.2) Make sure to have very good drill bits, some of the drill-holes needed to cut through 3-layers of steel metal. Note: bring or use cutting oil while drilling. I was using WD40 for cutting oil, but using a heaver cutting oil would have save time and save the edges on drill bits.3) You need at least two drill bits, one for pilot hole and a half-inch bit to make the holes for the trailer hitch bolts4) Need two people to lift hitch up in place and then mark were the holes need to be drilled using a black marker.5) One issue I had, was placing the trailer hitch back against the back bumper brace. If you move hitch about one inch forward of the bumper brace, then the trailer hitch bolt(closes to back bumper) will not hit against a bumper bracket bolt.6) On one video that I watch, they suggest using silicone sealant to be put around the top bracket bolt holes to keep dirk dust and gas fumes from entering in truck. I put it on the top brackets and around the holes on top of the trailer hitch.
