High quality puzzle

I just finished doing this puzzle. This was the first jigsaw puzzle I've done since childhood. I chose Ravensburger for its reputation of producing well-made jigsaw puzzles.They use high quality cardboard and the pieces are well cut. The face of the pieces have a satin finish that looks very nice when the entire thing is completed. The pieces fit together well, although they don't interlock as tightly as tightly as some other puzzle manufacturers. When you're done with the puzzle it will look so great you'll want to display it.As far as the difficulty is concerned, the colors and textures of the images make it fairly easy to sort the pieces. Most of if went pretty quickly. Some parts of the lion's mane went very fast, at one point I put together about 20+ pcs in the span of about two minutes. But for the most part, the mane was the slowest and most difficult part.It looks great when finished! I highly recommend this puzzle. The image and quality made me really enjoy putting it together. The finished size is ~ 48" x 32" (47.75" x 31.5" to be exact).

Wonderful Puzzle

The colors in this puzzle are wonderful. The size is a bit daunting, but if you have the time and patience it is well worth the effort.

Reed & Barton Tea Chest

Overall, the tea chest met my expectations. However, despite receiving the item in its original factory packaging which seemed careful and complete, the brass plate engraved "Tea" was scratched despite a blue film protector. Customer service offered to replace it but only once I returned the brass plate to them. While I appreciate their quickly offering to replace the item, I felt that requiring me to unscrew the item, package it, and incur a mailing cost for something that probably doesn't cost $1.00 to manufacture was unnecessary.

Made of Pressboard junk

Basically the box is painted press board to look like wood. The handles on the side are cheap tin. It looks like something from a 5 and 10 store. The only real thing is the brass plate on top. I'm embarrassed to give it as a gift and ended up giving it to my kids to play with. What a disappointment. It must be a mistake in shipment. The box is not worth more than $12.

This is a well-made item. Good job of staining, nice construction, fine hardware. It comes with an envelope you can use to send away for a personalized cover plate if you like. Nicely packaged for shipping.

Great for a large quanitity of silverware.

This is a wonderful product. Just the right size if you have extra steak knives as I do. I inherited my mother's silver and after years of having her keep it in plastic bags (that can't be good for silver, can it?) I decided it was time to give it a good home. I am so pleased with this product. It holds the entire set plus various serving pieces as well. Very sturdy, very well thought out. It was perfect for my needs.

Finally, a great flatware chest!

Whew! I finally found a suitable flatware chest! After a couple failed attempts at chests that claimed they'd fit at least 16 place settings and extra serving pieces required, I am happy to say the search is over! If you're still searching for a flatware chest, you know how hard it is to find one that happens to fit that magic number of place settings and all the serving pieces you have in your collection. There are 3 Reed & Barton chests of this sort. I ordered the "Arlington" because it was slightly larger than I needed (16 place settings and lots of serving pieces), and I'm glad I did. Although I do have a little room to spare, this set does the trick. Regardless of the leatherette construction, it's of surprisingly nice quality and has heavy duty zippers, canvas, and snaps for closure. Well worth the $100 I paid for it (Neiman Marcus and plenty of others, charge lots more).

My 12 setting silver set had overwhelmed the original wood chest long ago. Serving pieces, butter knives, fish service, and dessert spoons were being stored separately. It was a nuisance to set the table. This chest has ample room for a twelve piece setting with all the extras. It is well made and completely covered inside and out. The leatherette is unlikely to scratch your table or buffet. It is light enough to easily carry to wherever you are setting up your service. A year in, my silver is not tarnishing, so it is ready for use at a moment's notice. I purchased a second one for my good stainless set. I would not recommend stacking them as the cover is soft. You would risk damage when you pull one over the other. I have deep adjustable shelves in my buffet and I have each chest on a shelf of its own. This has freed up drawer space for other miscellaneous small serving items (e.g, napkin rings) that used to be boxed and forgotten at the back of those shelves.

Beautiful Jewelry Box

We purchased this as a gift for our teenage daughter. The box is very large and has plenty of room for all her jewelry. Has a hanging section in the box lid for necklaces and two smaller drawers for rings and bracelets. The box is put together very nice and feels very solid and of high quality. I expect it to last for a very long time. Looks great in her room.
