Product Description

High-output true single-coil pickup for hard-hitting tones. Great for classic rock, jazz-rock fusion, heavy rock and aggressive instrumental rock. This brute has enough power to compete with humbuckers and hot P-90s. The stronger magnetic field of the quarter-inch diameter pole pieces increases the output and allows use of a special coil winding. It keeps the high-end definition for great treble bite and a full, powerful midrange. It's especially useful for overdriven tones.

For all well-balanced instruments. Works equally well with maple and rosewood fingerboards.

vintage warm ALNICO tone!!!!!

If you desire warm and smooth guitar sound with a whole lotta character and soul, this is your pickup. Very easy to install if you know how to solder....just a matter of switching the old one with this. This is by no means a "metal" style pickup! There are nuances and overtones that will not be heard if played through distortion. With a correct amount of gain and natural breakup of a valve amp, this is the sound that can be heard numerous times on legendary and timeless albums. A great pickup for jazz, rock, and the blues.

Great for the sound I'm after

This not a spanky, twangy sounding pickup. It is a honky midrange crunchy sound. I love it. I use my tele for mainly christian rock and contemporary worship and it lets me get that nice over warm sound on my echoing delay tracks. It is hot. very hot so plan on that when you pair it with your neck pickup

A solid pickup

Purchased this pickup to replace in a friends american deluxe telecaster. Much hotter output than the stock fender pickup and brighter sounding as well, but not to the point that it gets harsh. Tone is subjective but I find this an upgrade to the stock pickup. Better harmonics, increased sustain. One issue that may come up is if you leave the stock neck pickup in your tele, when switching between front and back pickups mid song you'll have unwanted volume drops or spikes because this quarter pounder is hotter and higher output. I'd recommend getting another quarter pounder for the neck as well.

good framing nailer

being a pro framer, i have used many brands of nailers. hitachis are my favorite, but if you don't have the cash for them, this gun is a close second. lots of power. will nail into engineered wood. the teeth are nice and sharp making toe-nails a breeze. you won't have to pull out your hammer to finish off any toe-nails with this gun. little things about this gun are nice too. like the air exhaust can be moved in any direction without tools and comes with a rafter hook preventing some nasty falls off joists or trusses. good framing gun, not the best, but a good framing gun none the less. worth buying.just to add to my original review; after using my gun for a few months of constant use on the job site, i have had a few problems. the rafter hook broke pretty easily so now i have to be extra careful nailing joists and trusses. also, every now and then a bit of dirt or sand will get in the housing and just sprays air out of the exhaust. to fix it i have to take it apart and clean it. it's really annoying considering how much a framer counts on his nail gun. it's still a good gun, but i'm just gonna invest a bit more next time.

Bostitch is the best...

I own 4 Bostitch nailers and they are all great. I like the light weight of the nailer as well as its more than adequate power. You just can't beat the ease of use for a pneumatic nail gun.I did a lot of research before purchasing the Bostitch and I am very glad I did. It has yet to jam. The toe nailing claw is great. It really digs into the wood and allows you to drive nails at any angle without slipping.Can't go wrong with this.

This product is great and it makes framing a breeze. The only problem is that the wire clipped 28 degree nails are not commonly found in a lot of the public building supply stores (Home Depot, Lowes etc.) They can special order them for you but if you need them right away you are out of luck, with that being said once you do get the nails this is one fine nailing machine that will work all day without any problems.If you want a trouble free framing nailer this is a very fine heavy duty one Bostitch F28WW Clipped Head 2-Inch to 3-1/2-Inch Framing Nailer with Magnesium Housing

This was exactly what the picture showed...

...a nice little table that's perfect decor for a sports-themed room. We were dismayed to find that the plastic table top arrived VERY scratched up, and then pleased when we called Huffy customer service who said they'd send another one, no problem. And then even more pleased (and embarassed) to realize that the table top actually had a protective coating on it that once peeled off, revealed a pristine table top. Oops! Sorry Huffy -- our mistake! This is not a table to really put anything on other than maybe a few magazines or a couple of awards...but it's perfect for decoration and for displaying a basketball (we put a special autographed ball in that my son is very proud of).

Solid Basketball Goal

Received the system in three boxes on the day it was supposed to be delivered. The instructions were adequate and the goal is heavy duty. Put the goal together with my wife and 12 year old son in about 2 hours time. Be sure to bury the pole 36 inches into the ground and to also put some concrete down inside the pole to stiffen up the entire system. Overall a heavy duty goal that installed easily and should hold up for many years of play.
