Works Great. Gets Out Where Others Can't Get A Signal

I bought this for my personal vehicle since we use the same model in our patrol vehicles here in a New Mexico town near Santa Fe. Without it there are many areas up in the canyons where you cannot get a signal but when you plug it in you get several bars. It won't work miracles in deep canyons where there is no signal but it will definitely help your reception in remote areas. It boosts cellular signals like AT&T and Verizon best, not quite as well for PCS. I have used direct connect amplifiers for many years but now most new phones don't have an external antenna port so this solves that problem. I added a larger 5 Db gain external antenna from Radio Shack and it adds a lot to the boost factor. The included antenna is OK but does not have a gain factor. On our patrol cars we use a full size antenna (2 feet tall) that is attached permanently to the roof and wired into the amplifier. I am very pleased.

It works, but it doesn't work miracles

We were evaluating this unit for use in our county squad cars, since we live in a semi-rural area, and cell coverage isn't 100 percent. We found that this unit works, but only if signal is present anyway. In other words, it isn't much better at receiving signal from the tower than is your phone - it helps a bit that the antenna is outside the car, but that is a limited improvement. If there is not cell signal present, this unit won't help.That said, it makes a pretty big difference for transmitting. So, if you find that you can hear people but they can't hear you, this unit is probably for you. In our case, we were really trying to improve reception in the cars for mobile data applications, and it was a marginal improvement.

Great Looking Watch

bought this cookie jar for my dad, who is a life long aliens/ predator fan [which as much as i hate to admit it in public i am too] and im not gonna lie, this thing is freakin sweet. its pretty big on the inside i fit a whole box of little debie brownies and a bag of pistachios in there. in the picture the coloring suggest that its translucent, but its not, its painted ceramic, which is just fine for me.

ONE OF THE BEST! Maybe THE BEST

Persil Laundry Detergent We bought a front loading MIELE Washer and Dryer in 1991. I had a brand new pair of Maytag laundry machines and just found them to be flimsy and poorly made. Walked into a custom kitchen dealer and they showed me the Miele's and it was love at first sight. The Maytags went to my ex wife and the Miele pair was installed. Miele included a box of Persil and recommended NOTHING else. I thought "sure" how much better can this be? The answer is AMAZINGLY better! Better than Tide or Wisk or All or Cheer or any other top US brand. I keep four boxes of Persil on the shelf at all times - when I get down to opening the 2nd one, I re-order it. NOTHING ELSE CLEANS as well. I'm still using those Miele's and still hooked on Persil - I can wash sheets, towels, underclothes, and then turn around lower the temp and do my best custom shirts and the results are always amazing. Stains that won't come out with anything else are history with Persil. Sport socks that are worn around the house like slippers and get ground in black on the bottom come out snowy white again - no soaking, no pre-treatment, no bleach. Just Persil and Hot water and the stains are GONE. This stuff is NOT cheap. Tide is probably 1/3rd cheaper to use. But Persil will do what TIDE never could. Some things are just worth the extra cost. This is one of them. Try it and you'll never go back. BTW: the amount of "recommended" detergent is more than you'll need for all but the absolute dirtiest loads imaginable. Try using two tablespoons of this in a front loader and see if that does the trick. The Miele guy taught me this one. So the 54 load box actually does more like 100 loads if they're only "average" dirty. If you have soft water you can use EVEN LESS! This stuff is truly AMAZING! I can't recommend it enough. OH, it is made for front loading machines - it doesn't ever oversuds. Why it's not sold here in the grocery stores I'll never know. It would kick Tide off the shelves in a matter of weeks if most of America tried it! And no, I don't work for Henkels (the manufacturer of Persil - or Miele, either.) But I know quality and value when I see it. Try one box of this stuff. It's that good!

cannot live without this product

I have used Persil laundry detergent for 7 years. After visiting Austria, I was on a mission to get this product in the USA. It is a low suds detergent, thus less damaging to fabrics and washer. It is not heavily scented thus people with sensitive skin, there is no irritation. So even though it appears to be more expensive than other brands found locally, it actually is an overall cost benefit as my clothes look like new after years of laundering. It gets out stains without a prewash or chemicals sprayed on. It works wonderfully at any water temperature. I cannot live without this product.

Great stuff!

We were introduced to Persil when we purchased our Bosch front load W/D. They are high efficiency and our technician instructed us to use 1 Tablespoon of detergent. Clothes come out clean, bright, and odor free. Persil is the only product they recommend as there is absolutely no buildup or residue outside the drum to create odors or problems with over-sudsing. It may seem expensive, but at 1 Tbl per load a regular 1/4 cup per load/120 load case gives us 480 washes! To be clear, 1 Tablespoon per load is what was recommended for our front load, high-efficiency machine. Regular top load machines would still need the 1/4 cup.

Excellent piece of equipment.

I record (and sometimes perform) ambient/electronic music. Electric guitar, no synthesizers. I was searching for a reverb unit, but most effects boxes for reverb are limited and expensive. For the price, this thing is amazing. Many different reverb and delay settings as well as built in modulation effects. Easy to use, easy to program and durable.

Great Product!

I've had this about a month now and I love it. I use it for home recording and primarily use the reverbs for vocals and electric and acoustic guitars. I mess around with the delays and other effects but I love the reverbs. The reverbs and delays do not produce any feedback or noise which is great for recording. Phaser and Flanger has a little "phasing" noise but I guess all phasers and flangers will have that. Overall, I love it. You can use two effects at once which is nice, hence the term "dual effects processor". I thought it had two inputs but it only has one. No biggie, I'm a solo musician anyway. I do not record on a computer so I can't comment on USB connection but there is one so this could be a great plugin for PC recording. Good buy!

I am a jazz guitarist and longtime fan of Pat Metheny. Could never get the sound right. This thingnails it (not surprising since Pat uses Lexicon equipment.) Reverse reverb + chorus. Also can getvery close to Scofield, Stern, Frisell sounds out of it pretty easily. A pain to carry around ifyou don't have a rack but still worth it. Lexicon should really put the thing in a stompbox formfactor.

Great Product

1st off, this is the only photo printer I've used, so I can't compare it to other manufacturers/models. I'm more than satisfied. The print quality is outstanding and the printer driver works great from multiple applications. The manufacturer claims the printer ships with paper and an ink cartridge for 20 prints. I did get the 20 sheets of paper, but I've already printed 30 photos and my ink is about 20% used, so apparently they ship this printer with a full (100+ prints) ink cartridge, so it's probably a safe bet to buy some extra paper.I also bought the 270 print-pack of paper/print cartridges, which works out to no more than 24-cents per print. Be sure to factor the price-per-print into your purchase equation. This printer exceeds all others in this regard, and you don't sacrifice quality in the bargain.

Does what it claims, and does it well.

This is an excellent photo printer for your 4x6 needs. The only thing that would make it better would be an LCD display of your pictures, but if you realy want that feature, you can always spend some extra dough and get the Deluxe model which offers the LCD.The printer is easy to use, with or without being hooked up to your PC. It's compact enough to even take with you on vacation if you so desired. I can't speak to the longevity of the prints, since I've only had this item for a little less than 2 months, but the initial quality is certainly excellent.

Phenomenal, to say the least...

I started out looking at $500 A/V receivers, and gradually worked my way up to the Denon AVR-4806. Sometimes I think I must have been crazy, but more often I glad I bought this unit. What do you get for 3 grand? Needless to say, you get great sound, but you get a lot more.It is THX Ultra2 certified and will handle up to 10 speakers. So no longer do you have to live with a mere 2 channels of surround sound. It actually gives meaning to the word surround. It comes with a microphone (on a 20' cord) used to set the system up you plug it in and place the mike in various listening positions, and it determines all the distances and sound levels for each speaker automatically. Very cool!It has 3 HDMI inputs, so you can plug in your DVD player, Tivo Series 3, and Playstation 3 using HDMI and output them all via HDMI to your TV. In the present technology world this is the best way to connect things digitally. If your equipment doesn't have HDMI outputs, it will also accept component, analog and optical output and upconvert them flawlessly.The manual is about 150 pages, and not terribly easy to understand. When I bought it, it was offered by Crutchfield, and from Etronics (for several hundred dollars less). I paid the premium that Crutchfield charged, and I'm glad I did. With all the possible settings and confusion, I've already taken advantage of their lifetime tech support to get things working.The AVR-4806 is now discontinued, and is replaced by the AVR-4806CI. I understand the CI stands for `custom installation'. What the exact differences between the two are, I don't know, but for the additional $1,000, I doubt they're worth it.If you want an audiophile quality receiver that is able to upscale all your inputs to 1080p, and can afford the relatively steep price tag (although half the price of the next level up), you won't be disappointed in this unit.Although no longer listed on Amazon as a vendor, Crutchfield still has a few left for $2,999 (the AVR-4806CI is $3,999 from them).Update 01/10/2007 - I must apologize for this review. After trying to hook up a 1080p device I learned that this unit does NOT switch 1080p. In fact that is the main difference between the AVR-4806 and the AVR-4806CI. The unit is now at Denon being upgraded to a CI. The AVR-4806 is discontinued, but still available from a few vendors (no longer at Crutchfield). I would not recommend buying from somewhere that doesn't offer robust tech support as it is a very complex piece of electronics.Again, my apologies to anyone who may have been mislead by my erroneous information.

Perfect for my princesses...

A year and a half later and the carousel is still going strong. I assembled it alone and found it a breeze. It is very sturdy and has held up to daily use. The pieces for the 'cubbies' have come apart a couple of times, but are easily re-inserted.Its footprint is very small yet it holds so much! Previously we had a chest that took up a lot more room and the girls would end up having to take everything out in order to find a shoe or a piece of jewelry. The carousel is compartmentalized - a place for shoes, a place to hang up clothing several cubbies and shelves for purses and jewelry etc, so everything is a lot more accessible. It also helps in them being able to put everything away in its rightful place.The girls love it and have used it daily since we purchased it (they LOVE dress-up!). The two full length mirrors are also a great feature. I initially didn't want to pay so much for an item such as this, but my daughters are now 3 and almost 5 and I think they will be using the carousel for a few more years, so it was defiantly worth the purchase price.

Great concept, kids love it, but all the pieces don't fit

This is a wonderful dress-up toy for kids to put stuff, sort, use the mirrors to see themselves in their costumes and be able to actually see all the dress-up stuff they have. The only thing is that 1 of the shelf pieces on the back portion (opposite side where the hanging hooks are) did not fit at all to where it was 1" too short to reach the groove where it should have gone into. There is no way to fix it. So, we are just leaving that storage bin off and using it as an open shelf. It's not as useable that way, but it was not worth returning the entire piece after we had already assembled the rest of it. Other than that it's a great toy but pricey. Nice that it is tall and doesn't take up a lot of floor space and the mirrors are floor-length for kids :)

Guidecraft Dress-Up Pastel CarouselVery nice! Exceptionally durable! The instructions for putting together are a bit off, but once together, there is no way this is coming apart. The girls love it, but the pegs are a bit close together. Suggest purchasing some hangers to go with it. Plenty of room for dress up shoes, wands, tiaras, jewelry and other accessories. Best of all, it doesn't take up a lot of room like the "trunks" that the clothes usually come in.

Be careful

I don't think this is a real Shiseido product. I was using this product for a while and loved loved it until I ordered one from Amazon. The jar looks different and the smell is also different. I used it and it was irritating my face so i stopped. I went and bought a new one from Macy's. I've been using it for two weeks and everything is working fine. My skin is nice and smooth again. Be careful of what you're buying online, especially skin products.

a very nice cream

I have sensitive and, typically, dry skin. This stuff is amazing -- it is like water for your skin. It applies nicely and leaves your skin soft. I turn to it time after time to treat dry patches. It does what it is supposed to do for an entire day and during winter this is especially important. When I apply it before my makeup, I don't have to worry about my makeup flaking off because of dryness. This is a good product.

Even though the box had a sealed plastic wrapping, the product had been opened because the strip that seals the lid was broken and half of it was missing. I have purchased many jars of this and never has the strip been broken or missing. Also the little scooper was a cheaper version. If this was from a dept. store I would have returned it immediately, but as I needed it for a trip, I kept it. I have reservations about the product inside, as it could have been replaced with a cheaper cream. I will not order from that vendor again. The other times I have ordered this it was perfectly sealed and packaged. I thought this vendor had stars by their name, but I am afraid that I would not give them more than 2. I am concerned now about ordering this online anymore.

Tein Super Street w/ front pillow mount

This is an excellent replacement for the stock suspension if you're looking for something near stock ride quality. With the 1-16 levels of adjustment it can be a lot firmer than stock or almost as soft as stock. With the heavier spring rates it is a firm ride, but not bone-jarring. Steering is more precise, braking comes with way less nose dive, and getting under way seems more brisk with less squat on accelleration. Cornering is flat and feels more stable than before. The damping is really good. My application is a Acura RSX Type-S. Car is a LOT more fun to drive now, I look forward to turns. Im very happy with this purchase.

Very Impressed

Was nervous buying online as I have noticed in the past jewelery looks better in pictures than in person. Not the case here. It looks amazing in person, in any light. It's solid and fits her finger perfectly. Customer service was prompt with my email.Made a pricey buy online based off a picture but it paid off and really is an amazing ring. I just couldn't be happier.

Great Product

I had a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire on which I installed this flywheel. What a difference this thing made! Throttle response was virtually instant, and people were often intimidated to drive the "Slowfire" because of how quickly it reved. What a fun little car...Anyway, great product, fit properly, no complaints. The only thing with any lightened flywheel is it will make take-off more difficult, but you'll get used to it.
