Sturdy, but not smooth operation

I have used this item for over a year. It is easily adjustable and very sturdy. The tray is large and versatile enough to fit nearly any size keyboard. When the removable wrist pad is removed, the tray is a flat, non-skid surface.The one flaw is that the tray does not move smoothly in and out from under the desk. When moving the tray back under the desk, you have to push hard to start the slide.

Not worth the price

This would be a better keyboard tray if the adjustment controls were not so hard to reach and clunky. The installation instructions are very bad so you may need help with the steps and explanations actually left out. The one area that I don't like are the adjustment controls. To raise and lower the tray you need to reach under and flip a long lever to the right to release then flip it back to the left to lock the tray position. The pull tab to adjust the keyboard tilt is also underneath. Both controls completely release the hold and the tray flops loose until locked. Do a bit more research on the adjustment controls before you buy any adjustable keyboard tray.After using this item for about 6 weeks I have to say I do not recommend it. It sticks in the "out" position and will not slide under the desk until I lift the tray and release it, well, actually lift and drop, which frees up the track. (Yes, it is installed properly.) I will buy the next one locally to ensure it works properly.

Quality Product

Very nice keyboad tray. I have been using this tray for over a year and it is still functioning superbly. It is very easy to move around, lock and unlock, and adjust the mouse platform. I have had issues with carpal tunnel over the years and this keyboard tray definitely helps alleviate some of those issues. If you need a quality keyboard tray, this one is it.

Sore back and LOTS of wood flooring!

A friend who has a janitorial service recommended I buy one of these when we moved into our new home. The new place has darker wood floors and shows just about every speck of fuzz so I was sweeping or vacuuming it almost daily. I lifted one too many heavy boxes during the move and it was very hard on my back to be pushing the vacuum around and the motion of using the broom was actually causing headaches. I took his advice and ordered this 36 inch mop and I'm SO glad I did!There is no strain on my back at all when I use this. It glides over the floor and catches everything if you use it in a figure 8 motion and don't lift it to start a new area of floor. And after I'm done I just take my small hand vac and clean the pad in about ten seconds. It was taking me over an hour to do my floor and now it doesn't even take twenty minutes! The pad can also be used damp to clean the floors too. Then it can be thrown in the wash and it cleans up very well.The velcro that attaches the pad to the mop base is very strong so make sure it's in place before you let it touch. Once it's on, there is no way it's coming off until you choose to remove it. :)I highly recommend it for home use if you are unable (or just unwilling! lol) to use a vacuum or broom to clean your floors!

Great at eliminating odor

I live in a condo with 4 small dogs. I have a grassy patio area where they eliminate so I use the KOE to rince it off. I don't want neighbors complaining. KOE keeps the patio smelling good. I also make up some to odorize my trash can. With puppies, it's wonderful because if they have an accident in the house, KOE works really well to kill the odor.

My winter pups were housetrained in my screenroom. Despite using enzymatic cleansers during training, as soon as a humid day came, the smell of urine was apparent. I also have a pup who pees in the same shady spot of my yard and no matter what I've used the lingering smell of urine remains. I bought this product and used a trace amount mixed with water and saturated my screenroom several weeks back. While the humidity hasn't hit summer high, we've had a few days where all I've smelled was the powdery scent of the cleanser. I haven't used it outside yet but so far so good. As far as the cost, it is expensive but when I consider how much I spent on the enzymatic cleansers, vinegars, steam mops etc...I think it's more than cost effective. A smaller bottle may be more convenient for the average homeowner.

Very effective

I've been using KOE for 10 years with very good results. It's expensive but in my opinion worth it because it's highly concentrated and effective. Mix in a sprinkler can and thoroughly cover the kennel area. Because my kennel has a pea gravel surface, I like to hose it down first to wash thru some of the "crud" and also to rinse down any dust. Then KOE and let it dry (hot days are best, of course). Another odd use for KOE is to apply a small amount full-strength inside the lid of the poop can, which helps reduce the gut-wrenching smell by a remarkable amount.

K & N Cold Air Intakes are a good investment

I had been reviewing K & N as well as Airaid air intakes for my H2 Hummer. I think they both make great products, but with Amazon's low price on K & N I decided to spend the extra $20.00 and get the K & N system.Ebay was the cheapest I had found with until I came to Amazon and they had the same price and I knew who I was buying from, so I ordered it.It installed quickly (about 90 min.) and the system runs beautifully. The sound was actually pretty mellow overall. It seems quieter on takeoff, but when you step on it you can hear it. You can also hear some noise from the passenger side after you install. Mostly some mild inhale/sucking sounds but nothing you even notice with the radio on.So far the initial benefits are more throttle response and it looks like I am getting about 1 mpg more than before. Not a lot, but for a Hummer that is about a 10% increase :-)I am very pleased over all. Also wanted to mention that I owned an Airaid system last year with my Ford pickup with a 4.7 Triton and it was much louder than the K & N. Quiet works better for me.I also want to commend Amazon on the amazing service they provide with the Prime membership. I ordered this system on Thursday afternoon wanting to have it on Friday so I could toy with it on the weekend. It cost me $3.99 to have this large box sent overnight to my house and I had it on Friday.Prime memberships are worth their weight in gold for frequent Amazon shoppers IMO.

A fine kit by Tamiya

Tamiya makes excellent models and Tirpitz is one of the best on the market. This kit falls together like a fine Swiss watch. The instructions are very clear. Tamiya worked with a team of translators and engineers to come up with a beautiful instruction booklet.This model is a joy to open. All of the parts trees are clearly marked and have easy to find corresponding numbers. The hull is one piece and near perfect. The pieces are near flash free (no plastic that has to be trimmed off) and have few - if any - sink holes. The boats in the kit go together nicely and look good. The Arado-196 float planes are beautifully done. The kit even supplies decals for the float planes and they add good detail to the kit.Revell has a newer version of the 1/350 Battleship Bismarck. That kit is slightly more accurate than the Tamiya kit due to further research being done. But the Revell kit is not a great leap of engineering over this most excellent Tamiya kit. The Tamiya kit goes together so well and has such great engineering that it's not really worth the extra price of the Revell kits. Indeed, the Tamiya kit is slightly superior because it has no ship railings. The Revell kit has railings and they are so out-of-scale as to be near worthless. Conversely, the 1950s era Lindberg 1/350 Bismark Battleshipis a wretched model and they don't even look close. The bottom line is the Tamiya kit is still better than the newer Revell kit and the horribel Lindberg kit.I would advise to not totally follow the instructions if you are going to paint your model. The German quad 20mm gun mounts were painted gun metal. So, make notes where they go and add them after the kit is near completion. When the model is full painted then spend a few days correctly doing the rigging and putting the flags on the model. Few things bring a ship to life as rigging.Still, if you just decide to build this kit and paint it in the grey and dark grey paint scheme then make sure to at least paint the deck wood. The Germans did not follow the lead of the US Navy so the decks were always clean and had a beautiful wood finish. You will need to paint the deck first then paint the rest of the model in the grey and dark grey paint scheme.This is a superior model and I highly encourage any ship modeler to build this worthy model. If the instructions are followed, care is taken, and a good paint job is applied then the modeler will be rewarded with a beautiful model ship that is fairly large, at over 30 inches, and looks quite impressive.This is a five star model and demonstrates why Tamiya is one of the best model companies in the world.

Horsepower can be obtained for cheaper, but you get what you pay for

I installed this item recently, it was pretty straight forward install and took about 45 minutes to an hour. You can get the same results HP and TRQ wise by buying a CAI on ebay and putting a K+N filter on it, however I personally like the design of keeping the filter visable on the top of the engine bay (much easier to replace to clean than removing the ebay intake) The gains are very slim but noticable (1-2mpg and about 5hp)It's worth trying out, and K+N's customer service is top notch. mine was missing 2 parts and they overnighted it to me at no charge. I've never experienced such awesomeness from a company. I made my friends get this product for their truck / cars and they are satisfied as well.Overall I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Worth buying this!

It took me an hour or so installing this, it's not that hard, really. The filter is easier to replace/clean compare to the stock intake. I noticed some mileage improvement, probably 2-3mpg. Not much HP gain unless you're driving on the freeway and floor the gas pedal, there you can feel an extra "push". This intake looks great under the hood, it makes my car even more sportier. It also compliments my dual exhaust, the sound became a little deeper. This is one high-quality product. I recommend this to anyone.

this is what i expect when i buy a model. the overall quality is wonderful and the model looks beautiful! if you want to start building the 1/350 scale battleships, tamiya just does it right. i have the revell and the lindberg 1/350 scale battleships and if i would have known about these models when i bought them, i would have never even considered it. just check out the quality of tamiya models vs the rest and you will see. dont just take my word for it. happy modeling!

The Bismark!

This model was one of the best I've ever put together! I enjoyed putting it together, but the only problem is that the middle piece of the deck was a slight bit too big. So it overlapped a little on one side. It was still one of the best! The box was also nice too. The only problem now is were to put it?

Typical overpriced Tamiya

Note if you buy this item be prepared to spend twice as much on aftermarket parts because this kit includes NO railing or portholes or doors or string. Pretty much all your paying for is the fancy box art and the name brand. Go with Academy if you want an all inclusive kit or even dragon to get some photo etch with the kit. you will need to buy at least 5 photo etch kits and a KA models wooden deck to make this kit look presentable. I did and now it is museum quality.

Great upgrade

This filter system was a breeze to install - about 90 stress-free minutes. Imagine being asthmatic and taking a shot of an emergency inhaler; that's what this filter did for my 7.3L turbo diesel. The truck accelerates much quicker, pulls my fifth-wheel much easier and added a slight - but noticeable - increase in my fuel economy. My truck is a 2000 so I notice no increase in the cabin noise level. Should have added this filter system many miles ago. Amazon had it here a day after I ordered it. Five stars.

GREAT INVESTMENT

2002 Excursion with the 7.3 diesel. Love this vehicle and will keep it forever. Already had a K&N filter, but broke a fitting on the air filter box when cleaning the filter. The cost to replace this part was almost as much as this new cold air intake unit and I didn't want a 10 yo part from the junkyard since it would have the same weakness of the part that just broke. It was easy to install and I am impressed with the performance. It is louder and it made me nervous that I had a leak, but after numerous stops to check I was sure that it was ok. The computer mpg shows a 2 mpg increase, but I have yet to check it the more acurate way. My hubby is happy that he now has my old K&N filter and it has improved the performance on his truck. I wouldn't have done this without the part breaking, but I am glad that this was my decision instead of going back to the original air filter box design.Update 1/9/12 - Still very happy with this and I am really getting an average of 2 additional miles per gallon. May not seem like a lot to most of you, but this vehicle costs over $150 to fill up due to the 44 gal tank. The idiot computer read-out shows that I am getting 22.7 miles to the gallon. Thanks to my super chip programmer, the mpg readout hasn't been accurate since I programmed it when the vehicle was new. I am actually averaging 18 mpg and I live in the hill country in Texas.

this is the standard which others are judged

what can i say about tamiya 1/350 scale battleships. i have all six of these 1/350 scale ships from tamiya and have loved each one. the detail is wonderful, the pieces havent failed to fit (yet). the painting suggestions make the models look great and the instructions are always enough. the entire collection is full hull. there is no waterline option, unless you sand the hull down yourself. the build is extensive but if your a modeler you already know that and thats one of the things you enjoy. there was a little flash on the sprues, why thats important i dont know but i see everyone mention it so i thought i would as well. so if your on the fence about if you should get this, dont let the price scare you, you get what you pay for. happy modeling!!

1/350 Musashi

Great value for the money for a 1/350 IJN subject. I see new IJN battleship kits selling retail for around $300 (I grabbed a 1/350 Kongo). With aftermarket photo etched parts and a real wood deck this could be a real show stopper! I purchased several copies of this kit through Amazon to represent the Musashi and Yamato throughout their WW2 careers. It builds up nicely without all the aftermarket parts but it is fun to go all out! Highly recommended for value, detail, size, and fit of parts. BTW it is not a toy!!!! Model Kit!!! I reviewed it as a model kit only!!!

The IJN Musashi

Ok This has to be the Best Model to date that I have put together and it came out looking Good and I even got some of the Flags put on it as well This is a really Cool Model to get and build and it is Big just look at the Product Description and if your going to Paint the Hull I suggest you Spray Paint it.so like the Previous guy said in his Review You get what you Pay for and I did.and yes some of the Small Parts that I put on were a bit Touchy like the Lifeboats and the Small Guns but overall I Definitely Recommend this Battleship Musashi Model. :-]

K&N Air intake kit

I like the K&N air intake it helps to gain more gas millage and eay to installed but the only bad thing is sometime it got really loud that I need turned my music up to cover it.

03 honda civic ex- easy to install and could feel the power over stock intake system. It has a nice sound. not into loud intake but this sounds perfect on my car. completely happy. also used the option to be notified by text when package was delivered. not only did they notify me when it was delivered but when it was actually on the carrier. worth the money

Exquisitely detailed 1/350 scale model kit of the World War II Japanese Battleship Yamato. Yamato and her sister ship the Musashi were the largest battleships ever constructed, and she was the flagship of Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto during the historic "Battle of Midway". Yamato was sunk by U.S. dive bombers and torpedo bombers during "Operation Ten-Go", a suicide mission to attack the U.S. fleet supporting the invasion of Okinawa on April, 1945. Tamiya now presents the largest battleship ever built, looking as she did just prior to departing for her final mission, as an exquisite 1/350 scale assembly kit display model. The Yamato's massive imposing silhouette is accurately reproduced, and both the main gun turrets and secondary armament turrets can be rotated after assembly. A specially made display base and beautifully crafted nameplate are also included for a truly magnificent display.

The pride of the japanese Navy

I spend 30 hours of happy time building this Tamiya 1/350 scale model ship and I can only state that ship models have truely increased in detail and design in the last 50 years since I started building them many years ago. This is not a toy as such but a true hobby requiring both skill and much time but you will be rewarded for your efforts. I have build and collected all of the ships made by Tamiya in this scale (1/350) due to eye problems instead of the 1/700 scale ships offered these days. The amount of detail and clear instructions are first rate and you will enjoy both working on this model ship and displaying the Yamato with your collection. I might add that this ship model may be too difficult for children under 10 due to the detail and small parts as well as the time (20 to 30 hours) to sucessfully complete a fine model at this class of ship model building. The Yamato is just the thing to help start an interest in both Naval history and creating a new series of skills in building a model ship for a young teenager or old guy like myself. I might add that this model can be found in the $60.00 to $80.00 range, I was lucky to find my model at a yard sale and paid only $10.00 to the wife of the owner when he was in the house and did not realize the value of this model. I'm sure it was a lucky day for me and an unlucky day for him. You may not be so lucky but with prices going sky high these days from the likes of Trumpet and other model makers in this scale (1/350) running well over a hundred dollars they (Tamiya) are still a deal.

Great Model easy to convert to RC

A very well built model. Comes with a counter action gear box to get all four propellers motorized easily. Was easy to install an RC kit, although alot of custom work is needed for the rudder as the space is a little cramped. Buy a photoetch kit and the book about the ship on amazon as well to help make the model look super.

Built this kit before- review below

Tamiya is a company well known for their hobby supplies and model kits. Back in 2007 or 2008, I purchased this kit from a local hobby store. It was an enjoyable build as a novice model builder. The instructions come in two booklets- japanese and english, although you could read either to assemble the kit. There were zero fit issues with this kit. Painting it (at the time) was difficult due to using spray cans, but should be no problem even with the use of spray cans. Easy to assemble; no corners cut. The detail is surprising, but if you have the expertise, buy a photo-etch set to really enhance the model. I made mine an RC ship, and it took quite a bit of custom work. Even as a static model, the Yamato is impressive- and fat! (proportionate and in scale). I recommend this kit if you are up to it- I purchased it for $80 years ago. If it is cheaper now- it is actually a good deal. The "toy" is durable because it survived a very rugged 800 mile move with a bad moving company. I plan on purchasing the sister ship, the Musashi, also in 1/350 scale. It should have a slightly different configuration than the Yamato.
