Product Description

AEM Short Ram intake systems are an economical alternative to our Cold Air systems and deliver performance, value and ease of installation over any other short inlet intake. Our Short Ram intakes install easily under the hood and cost less because we use less material to manufacture them. During the development process, we found certain applications respond favorably to shorter inlet lengths over our longer Cold Air designs. For these applications (denoted in the search results page), we offer a Short Ram system only. We perform extensive temperature testing to locate the filter in the coolest area of the engine compartment, which allows our Short Ram systems to achieve the lowest inlet temperatures possible. Please refer to our temperature testing procedures for more information.

Creat Intake With OK Fit

I bought this intake for my 2001 Honda Civic EX because the K&N version rubbed against the hood. After working with both brands intakes for my car I feel i got a good read on both items. K&N's fit snug and seated perfectly but the top of the intake was too high thus rubbing on the underside of my hood. I sent that back and bought this one. The finish color is awesome and looks great. Everything fit ok but it wasn't as clean a fit as the K&N. Everything ran perfect once installed though. It's a great looking intake and performs well. Just know that it doesn't fit as spot on as others.

A few minor things worth mentioning.

Pros*Well builtGreat filterGreat soundCons*Terrible hose clampsSlight machining errors (performance non-affecting)Color is slightly darker than shown.Overall this product did exactly what it was intended to do. Install was a cinch and it produces a nice deep throaty sound when throttling, accommodated by the sound of the filter "hissing" which is the airflow.

Better then stock CAI (cold air intake)

I installed this on my 97 Honda Civic Ex. After installing now has more throttle response and sounds better. Can not beat the price and had free shipping. The only bad thing I can say about this product is the instructions that came with it. You can try to use K&N's off there website but it is a little different. If you are looking for more HP and top end speed then I would go with the CAI over this. But if just looking to add some HP and sound better then stock then I would go with this. Also you do not have to worry about hydrolock. Other then that it works great and is better then stock cold air intake. Also it did not come with a license plate cover. Not sure if they only put those in the CAI which cost more. It did come with stickers. To see pics of it on my car please visit [...] Please note that I live in CA and just had a smog check which I passed but the tech keep looking at my intake and had to check it online to see if it was legal or not. If you go and buy a cheap tube you my fail vs name brand as they have a sticker on them which the tech looks for to pass you.

Great product... Totally worth it!

I just bought this short ram a few weeks ago. And I am very glad I did. I installed it on my Civic 98 EX Vtec and you can certainly feel the difference. Not a big deal in low revs, and it is not as louder as you may think (this is better for me). But let me tell you the difference at high revs (4200 to red line). Performance is just awesome, you can feel it and hear it. Makes your engine sounds like it has a professional racing filter, I also have installed a header and the high fuel rail from AEM and when vtec opens you can feel this filter doing what it does really well.Installation took me around 15 minutes, very very easy to install (instructions are not very clear and it is a point maybe AEM should try to improve, but not a big deal cause you can not screw up anything at least you don know anything about your engine).I totally recommend this product.

i ordered ram aem 22-401r air ram kit and got it 48 hours later. install took 20 minutes. instant improvement on sound, throttle response, and it seems to even idle better. 2 high thumbs up! thank you

This item was well worth buying! It is of good quality at a reasonable price ($39.99). Only thing I wasn't pleased with was that after washing, it is quite wrinkly. I have been ironing the pillow cases.

AWESOME, VERY soft and durable sheets!

I bought these for my daughter's birthday, including having it gift wrapped, and WOW! These are WONDERFUL sheets! I know from expereince that a high-sheet-count set of sheets is worht the extra money! (I have a set that is over 20 years old and is FINALLY showing signs of wear in just the last year!)The color is a soft sage green. They are VERY soft for having such a high thread count, yet are also durable as well.One can buy a cheap set of sheets that may last a couple of years and then have to buy another (I figure you'd have to buy 10 sets of low quality sheets by the time these show wear!), OR you can actually save money by buying quality high-thread-count sheets like these and they'll last 20+ years!I've never seen a 20+ year old so excited about a set of sheets! She loves them, and after I got to see them, I'm considering buying a set or two for my newer bed (as it's a different size than my old bed.)Great value and you won't be disappointed!These make a GREAT gift for anyone, and sleeping on durable soft sheets makes for a better night of sleeping as well! (She said she's sleeping better too!)If you need sheets, this is a GREAT value!

These are the sheet!

I've had these sheets for a little over a month and am very happy with them. They are silky soft and a joy to crawl into at the end of the day. The bottom sheet fits over my 18" mattress easily. The edges are nicely finished and it seems as though they will last for some time and still look great.

Love the sage color on this set, but they can't be used without ironing - they get VERY wrinkled after washing. Ironing is not my forte!

Excellent product.

Wonderful quality. However, installing is a little tricky. The lock only operates properly if installed a "certain" way (the instrucitons don't explain that to you). If you don't get it to work, try the manufacturer. They are the ones that told me I had not rotated the lock assembly properly.
