Amazing labor and back saver, but quality control problem

We brought an Earthway high wheel garden cultivator to a family member in Ireland who has a large organic vegetable garden. It works amazingly well. We have only used the five-prong cultivator to weed between the crop rows in pretty heavy clay soil, and have yet to try the other attachments. It requires only the technique of using a manual push mower: one step forward at a time; a shallow pass the first time and a deeper pass the second; going down the grade rather than up it; and so on. We are so impressed with it that we've just ordered one for our home garden and allotment in California. It makes weeding a pleasure and saves our backs.September 2, 2007 follow-up. We did not have such good luck with our second cultivator. It arrived packaged in the original Earthway box, but it was missing two vital parts and the parts that were sent were painted black, not the usual powdered steel finish. We called Earthway, which promptly sent the two parts and had no explanation why the hoe was now painted black. I asked them to make sure that the missing parts were black as well. The two parts arrived painted gray, so we have a 2-tone hoe. Additionally, the main tool, the 5-clawed cultivator, had too much solder on one of its two parts, so they did not fit together smoothly, with the result that our hoe is somewhat lopsided when it is standing up. It still works well, but its appearance and lopsidedness take away some of the pleasure of using it. We emailed Earthway about it, but never received a response.

good idea cheapened

When mywooden handled cultivator was stolen I replaced it with this tubular steel model. The tubing is not nearly rigid enough for use in heavy soils.Go for a model with oak or ash handles. The optional slicing hoe does a great job.

High wheel Cultivator

The high wheel cultivator is one the easiest ways to cultivate weeds right up against the crop. I like using it more than a hoe. I lay off rows with the single point plow, and it will cover rows as well. I sure do like mine and I use it alot.

A Truely Good SCT

This is an excellent SCT. Before I get to pros and cons, let me take a moment to address the other two reviews. Amazon and most major on-line retailers will accept the return of a defective or damaged item and pay the return shipping and that is true for both manufacturing defects and shipping damage. Celestron does have a two-year warranty on these scopes and my experience with two nearly back-to-back failures of my Nexstar 8SE, is that Celestron does try to meet and in my case exceeded their stated 30 day turnaround time. The 30 days is clearly written on their site so it should not come as a surprise.After owning a Nexstar 8 for a year, I decided to upgrade. I selected the CPC 925 because I thought the CPC 1100 was too heavy. The CPC series has several advantages over the Nexstar. The twin fork mount and heavy-duty tripod are much steadier than on the Nexstar SE series. This greatly reduces focus shake and improves go-to accuracy. The 8SE go-to is quite good, once you balance the tube and learn to work with it. The CPC 925 is better by half, right out of the box. They share the same hand controller so the internal catalogues are identical and they use the same alignment procedure. The CPC has built in GPS, so unlike the SE series, time/date/location entry is not needed. But don't get the CPC for the GPS, it really only saves a few seconds when aligning the scope to observe. Buy if for the rock steady mount/tripod and the very accurate go-to and buy it for the excellent optics.I set up my 8SE, mounted on an older heavy-duty tripod, and the CPC to compare them on the same targets. I carefully aligned both using the simple Auto Two Star (I select Polaris and center it. The scope selects Castor and slews to it. I center Castor and push the enter button. That is all). Some faint galaxies not seen in the 8SE were barely seen in the CPC 925, but galaxies clearly seen in the 8SE had much better definition in the 925. Doubles were more nearly pinpoints with the 925. Just for fun I spent a few minutes along the terminator of the first quarter moon. The seeing was only fair, but was able to use a 4mm EP (530x). With an 8mm EP, the views were very good with both scopes, but again, slightly larger and more detailed with the 925.The 925 comes with a straight through 50mm finder that might not be in focus. It is focused by rotating the objective housing, something not covered in the manual. A reflex, red dot, or right angle correct image finder is a worthwhile upgrade. I have a SV F50 and a red dot.The included 40mm EP is fine, but you will want to get one or two others. I recommend something about 20mm to start. Owl Astronomy and others sell very good so-called super wide angle (around 65 degree FOV) EPs for >$50. A zoom in another option until you discover what works well for your eyes, in your night sky. Less expensive EPs often work very well in long focal length scopes like the CPC 925.You will need an AC adapter rated at 12v/2.5A, or a 12V power pack (sealed lead acid battery) or you can run them off the car battery. At least some CPCs shipped with bad DC power cables (too thin) and the scope works erratically when these are used. Celestron will replace it for you.Is the CPC 925 worth the price, especially when optically it is not twice as good as the 8SE? I think so as long as you can manage the weight. If not the 8SE is less than half the weight, has an adequate go-to and tracking, and is darn good optically.

Poor Customer Service

My telescope arrived damaged. Not shipping damaged, but defective.I contacted Celestron and they instructed me to take the telescope apart, remove a part, and reassemble it for shipping. I had to repackage it and send it to their repair department.Their department received it on the 23rd of January and they STILL have it. It's now Feb 25th.I bought a BRAND NEW telescope and I have yet to use it. They told me that their repair department has up to 30 days to process a repair. Or what? Nothing. I call and they simply tell me that I have to keep waiting. There is a line. Wait for an email with your shipping information. No consolation prize, no rush on the repair, NOTHING. Simply, too bad, you have to wait longer.Not only that, but their customer support line services the entire world. They even tell you that when you call. So the wait time can be extremely long.If I knew this is the customer service process, I would not have bought this product. The telescope is no doubt a great one. I just wish I could have found out by now. Unacceptable customer service that I have no choice but to accept.If customer service is anywhere near the top of your list, do not buy from Celestron.

Waiting for CPC Edge HD

The original CPC was so easy to use; I could observe objects with the whole family. Set-up was easy; it found every object I wanted to observe. But the corrector plate on the unit I owned had obvious flaws (streaks, bubbles, spider web-like structures); I returned the product. I am waiting for Celestron to release a CPC with the new Edge HD design.

First class gear

These are excellent pots- the nonstick surface is an improvement over regular old Teflon and they're heavy and spread the heat well. Gotta love the splendid red color, too! I find these cook a bit slow, but that's a good thing; I haven't managed to overcook and mangle a single thing in these pots. The heat spreads well and stays consistent, I haven't had any "cold spot" problems. They're also a snap to clean, I like an OXO Nylon bristle dish scrubber. Nothing sticks and pots almost wash themselves. I wish they made a 12 inch skillet; but this is a perfect starter set and easier to use than a lot of fancy pots are.Very Highly Recomended!

Must not use on ceramic/glasstop stove

The item description did not state that if you use these pans on a ceramic/glasstop stove the pan may "fuse to the stovetop requiring replacement of the stovetop". If you don't have a glass cooktop this is a very nice set for the price.

I say... go for it! I was so very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this set. While it is NOT dishwasher safe, they wash up like a dream... no effort required, so I don't mind doing these dishes! They are heavy and well-made. The silicone handles are fabulous too! They are so soft and give you such a nice grip on the pan. How can you complain with the bonus au-grautin pans? That makes a 14 pc set for $104.99 SHIPPED! Excellent Fine Art Printing Paper

The 13x19 box of Moab Entrada Fine Art paper was delivered in record time. I had printed on sample sheets of this paper before and it has excellent ink holdout and the natural coloring of the paper adds a nice warmth to my ink jet Ultrachrome images. Excellent UPS for average to gadget user.

Bought two of these UPS from Best Buy 2 years ago for pretty cheap. We have been living in an area that likes to see electrical flickers and outages. Since I run my own photo/video and other media company from home, I was concerned of losing data from power outages.Ever since we've had these UPS, we've never had to concern ourselves with when and if the power flickers or goes out again. The device keeps everything regulated perfectly.Even at peak usage (1 x 250gb external HD, 1 x 1TB external HD, 1 x Dell XPS computer, 21" wide screen monitor) the backup gives me about 8 minutes of time before it runs out of juice. I have it set to automatically shutdown my pc when 5 minutes of battery time is remaining so that if i'm not there, it'll handle the outage as intended.You definately know when you're running off of the battery backup as it beeps every 5 seconds or so and you can hear it's internal fans running. But when not running on battery backup, you never know it's there.Excellent back up that provides enough battery for someone with multiple periphials connected and makes working through uncertain power flickers go on without a hitch.

Woks Great on Core 2 Duo Machine!

This UPS works great! it runs my computer with Intels 6700 Core 2 Duo , 2 GB ram, 2 HDD's, Ati x800xt Graphics, Audigy sound, 600 watt PSU, Plus (2) Dell 20" LCD's for about 20 minutes when the power goes out.We have an old house with old wiring, so we get a lot of power outages here. The last power outage fried my power supply in my computer, so I decided it was time to get a UPS. This one works way better than expected! The battery last for about 20 minutes with my system, which is way more than enough time to shut everything down safely. The control panel is excellent, and you can set it to automatically enter hibernate mode or shut down the computer after so many minutes of using the battery, which is great for when you have a power outage and you're away from home! I HIGHLY recommend this product!

Does what it's supposed to do

I bought this unit to serve as an UPS for an 8-core Mac Pro and its dual LCD displays, and it talks to the Mac via the USB connection. Setup was trivial - just go to the Mac power setup. We've had a few brief power outages, and the CP1200AVR has kept the Mac operating just as it's supposed to. We have also tested it with a longer power outage, and with the USB connection, the UPS has shut down the Mac after the right interval, as designed. What's more, unlike some of the other CyberPower models (the AVR-G types), this model allows the Mac to go to sleep.What can I say? It just works like it's supposed to.

Ask the man who owns one!

I like this sword. A LOT! It's well-constructed, it comes with a nifty leather scabbard with shiny silver trim, and it looks good. Excellent for costume, display, or reenacting, but I don't know if the blade was manufactured for "practical" use (theatrical or reeactor sword fighting). Still, it's a good prop. Did I say I like this sword?

It's Ok.

This sword looks AWESOME, so I bought it for my husband who loves swords! He was very happy with the look, but the feel of the sword has a lot to be desired. The sword is not sturdy, and it shakes alot. If this sword was to be played with, I have no doubt that it would fall apart in my hand. If you want something pretty to look at, then this is your sword for you! Otherwise, move on to something more battle ready.

Great craftsmanship!

I carried this sword at the Texas Ren Fest for 5 weekends and always received compliments on it. The hilt is large and bright silver, and truely stands out in a crowd of swords.Bare in mind that this sword is just a prop and is probably no good for sword combat. But it's a fine crafted item that is sure to look good on your hip or mounted on the wall.

Great light, misleading photo

Great as this light is, beware that the photo is quite misleading: it does NOT include the barndoors. Therefore, it's not a matter of "frequently purchased together," but rather of having to buy them separately. At 25% of the price of the light itself, this is not a trivial consideration. In spite of this, I'd buy more of the lights themselves: versatile, compact and very effective.

Great product

Estee Lauder Double Wear is a great product. I have been wearing it for years because I have a severe sweating problem and the Double wear stays on through all of the sweating. I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Great if you apply it the correct way

I honestly regretted making my purchase on this makeup at first. I bought this, concealer, and the powder. I used a makeup sponge to apply first and it looked like i had no makeup on....no coverage and it was streaky.I realized quickly that this makeup truely absorbs on a sponge and is meant to be applied with a brush or hands. I put 2.5 dots on each cheek, 1 on forehead and 1 on chin and use my hands to blend. The heat of my hands melts and blends it perfectly and gives me excellant coverage. It is pricey but for the small amount it takes to cover face it will last a long time!

I have tried other makeup, but the Double Wear Stay in place makeup lives up to its name. I do not have to worry about streaking- because it doesn't and that makes me feel confident and happy.

High Quality, Not for Widescreen 12"

This is a really high quality product. It is thicker than it looks, but not bulky. there is about 3/4 inch tough padding lining all sides, including top and bottom. It has a nice design, but is not made for widescreen laptops. I have the Dell XPS 12.1 (same dimensions as Inspirion 12.1) and the SUMO is not wide enough. Cannot even squeeze it in. But if you are using something less wide, this is a very quality choice. It costs a little more than most sleeves, but it is easily the better choice if you are shoving your laptop into a backpack.

Good Laptop Case

When I bought this case, I was concerned about my laptop fitting. I have a HP Tablet, and the case is a little small, but my laptp fits in and the top closes. The first time I tried to put my laptop in, it would not fit all the way, but after about 3 tries, it streched and my laptop fit in. The case is very durable, and keeps my laptop very well proteted. There is padding on all sides, including the top. The only thing I don't like about the case is that its uses velcro to close. The velcro gets caught on my things, and is loud to open, but that is the only thing I don't like. The case also fits in my backpack, and all of my friend's backpacks. It is small enough to put in a backpack or carry out in your hands. Overall, I am very pleased with it.

Every small boat should have this installed.

This thing is awesome. It protects the keel as advertised. No more worries about scrapping the keel when beaching or loading the boat into the trailer. Highly recommend it. Note that you must follow the installation instructions to the T. I did and I am not that of a handy man. And is like part of the hull now.

Keel Guard - Good idea, poor adhesive

The Keel Guard concept is a great idea. The material itself is quite tough and flexible enough to fit over a V-Hull keel. I installed one on my runabout two years ago, and the aft two feet have come loose. This obviously is in a difficult place to glue the keel guard and I wouldn't know what adhesive to use.
