Hellboy Comic Liz Sherman Action Figure

This Liz Sherman action figure was produced by Mezco and is designed to resemble the Hellboy comic book depiction of Liz Sherman. The figure stands between 7 and 7 1/2 inches tall and features a full 20 point articulation including ball jointed shoulders, hips, wrists, and neck; hinged elbows and knees; and a swivel waist. Although I should mention that her ankles are not articulated. From the wrinkles and shadows on her jacket, to the precision painting in her eyes, Liz Sherman's sculpt is rich with artistic detail. Her jacket and belt are, unfortunately, non-removable, but she does come with 4 great accessories. There are 2 interchangeable flame accessories which are meant to fit in a hole sculpted in Liz's left hand. The other 2 accessories are a removable backpack and a lit cigarette. The backpack has two straps which plug into pegs on the body of the back pack. The back pack itself is non-functioning, so it can't open and close to hold any of the accessories in it. Overall this is a well made, versatile action figure. It has enough play value to make it a worthy addition to the toy box; but it also depicts enough artistry to fill that empty corner of a book shelf.

This is a fine product. It is affordable and built well. Best of all if you want to just use it as an organizing device on your truck then you don't have to even lock it and worry about anyone trying to break in to it.I think maybe they can improve it by using recycled materials in manufacturing.

Stealth Hunter-- Air-unit Mecha for the humans!

Ah, the Stealth Hunter! One of the best mechs of the Exo Force Line! Said to be the special missions flight mech of the humans; agile and fast, moderate firepower, but weak defense. Like the other 4 mechs released for the 06 Spring lineup, he features multiple articulation points, a "light up" brick, a book of decals, and a pilot.The articulation alone is fantastic. The legs can assume nearly any pose, and really give the set playability and creativity. A "Laser Rifle" on his left arm features the light up brick, while the right arm has a double-sword. To be honest, that sword weapon put me off at first; in the world of mecha, it didn't seem very practical. But this is a minor gripe of mine, and it doesn't compromise the greatness of the set. There is also articulation in the "wings" on the shoulders of the Stealth Hunter, which aid it in (imaginary) flight.The pilot figure, Hikaru, has a reversable head, to switch from calm collected to battle angered! The decal sheet has place-by-numbers instructions, but regardless, it may be difficult for some younger builders. Mom and pop might wanna do that.Aside the light-up brick, the set itself has no full on action features, but that's fine by me! The set itself is a marvel of design, with loads of potential play.

Stealth hunters are FUN

The Stealth Hunter was my first Exo-Force set, and when I had finished it, I was amazed. It has a total of 10 joints (12 if you count the wing joints), all of which click and lock into place. The pilot's head is double-sided, a cool, collected face on one side, and on the other is a mean, battle ready face, which really can add to imagination with the set. When used with a Fire Vulture, which, like the Stealth Hunter, can supposedly fly (according to the comic), this set adds up to some real fun.My only gripes are that the light tube gets in the gun's way sometimes, which does not allow it to pose in ways you want it to. This set is fun, with tons of features. I give it a 5/5.

I just got this and it was better than I imagined. I love Hikaru's face changes and all the signs around the Stealh Hunter. I would prefer if the light brick was a different color though. I like way they put the flight things to the ship. I would recommend this to anyone 'cause it has a great play value but slight problems.

Walking on stones

I have always had great respect for Clark Shoes; however these classic oxfords are not in the same league. Clarke is known for comfortable "walking" shoes--these shoes are like walking on stones with your bare feet; no shock absorbing quality at all. Though these shoes are great looking and appear to be well made for an amazing price, if you have any issues with your legs: hips, knees, feet, etc.--forget this model. I donated mine to the Good Will.

Your feet will love you after a long hard day.Update: 02/20/07----------------So, I've had these for almost 3 months now.. I am a bit disappointed now. I am starting to see some separation between the sole and the upper at the front of the shoe.. The shoe is comfortable but I expected it to be a bit more durable!

Thunder Fury

I liked them so much I bought five diffent ones in the set all with the light brick function. I liked that they are giant mechs that have little Lego men for pilots. I like how posable they are and how much fun they were to build. They look really cool all lined up on the shelf next to each other. And the light brick function was really awesome as well.This is the Thunder Fury which features a robot pilot. This is the only one of the five that I own that does not have a movable cockpit. You can pull off the front to remove the pilot if you want but I wish they had made it like the others. The pilot has the same shade of red as the mech. This mech is quite menacing looking in my eyes. I think the antenna that stick out of the top of it help in this perception. I like its giant bazooka style weapon it has for its right arm. But my favorite is the blade weapon it has for the other arm. It has the tube connected to it that runs from the light brick which glows red when activated. I've made a video but you will notice that I never show the light brick function and this is because after years of storage (sometimes in the freezing cold) it no longer lights up bright enough to really see anymore. I'm surprised they even light up at all. But when it did work it worked well. While I like this one alot it is not my favorite that I own (that would be the Super nova) but I do not regret buying it.

Pan is Great, But the Rack Leaves Something to be Desired

I purchased this pan to tackle a prime rib roast for Christmas dinner. The pan itself is very heavy, solid and distrubutes the heat well. One thing I do not like about other roasting pans that I have purchased is sometimes the pan juices seem to burn in the oven which results in no "pan goodness" to make gravy with. I have used this pan multiple times and never had that issue- the bits and pieces will brown, but do not get a burned flavor. I attribute this to the construction of the pan and the heaviness of the weight. I would give the pan a solid 5 stars, but the rack that comes with this pan immediately started peeling and rusting even though I ran it in the dishwasher and promptly removed it. So what is a girl to do?I bought the William Bounds silicon roasting rack (from Amazon) and now use this with my pan. I could have purchased a replacement rack for $19 or paid shipping and handling to get a replacement rack through the warranty, but I have been very impressed with the William Bounds rack and it fits perfectly in the pan. Clean up is a snap- both pieces go right in the dishwasher and come out looking as if I just pulled them out of the box for the first time. Plus, the WB rack has a slightly smaller grid so even on the coldest of days I can have familiy over (about 20 people) and still serve roasted chicken breasts with baked potatoes and salad in a snap.

I researched many roaster pans before I settled on this and am I glad I did. It offers a truly stovetop worthy construction, no bending or warping, a great v rack, and superb heat distribution. The handles are comfortable and the pan fits perfectly in the oven. Compared to the AllClad, it is less expensive and better performance. A well thought out pan.

Great roasting pan

This pan is just the right size and weight for large roasts and turkeys. The clean up was easy and although it is dishwasher safe, per the use and care guide, I didn't find it necessary. I cook rib roasts using very high heat for 15 - 20 minutes depending on the number of ribs and then turn off the heat and let it set in the oven for a couple hours. The key to this working is even heat distribution and even loss of heat as the oven cools. It worked like a dream, no surprises. I have other Calphalon pots and pans and have been a fan for years - this is no exception - excellent!

Nice saucepot/steamer, if a bit hefty

I bought it replacing a cheap old stainless saucepan/steamer whose handle fell off (after 12 years ;)This calphalon pot is actually a very nice size - the steamer is actually wide enough to handle asparagus spears with just the very tips broken off. The nonstick surface seems very durable.However, it is pretty heavy, if that's important to you.

Pots with steamer inserts are not that common anymore. I like that this pot has a wider, shallower configuration than my previous steamer so the veggies cook more evenly. The glass lid means I don't have to keep taking the lid off, losing all the steam, to see when the food is done.

I bought this locket as a Christmas gift for my husband. Both his father and my father come from Irish descent so I wanted something to reflect both my love and our heritage. Needless to say, it worked! He thinks that the locket was a wonderful gift. The locket is durable and detailed. My only issue (why it's 4 stars instead of 5) is the latch on the locket. It works, but it could be improved. For the cost of the locket, I was expecting it to be a little better. I'm afraid after some time it will break but no major issues so far! It has a lot of room for photos, one on either/both side(s). It isn't too feminine looking which was important to me since this was for a guy. It's a good size too!

This is a great stockpot. I had "borrowed" my mother-in-law's 6qt Wolfgang Puck Tri-Ply for several years and finally decided to return it. After using her tri-ply for so long, I knew I didn't want to go back to any other material. I was nervous about not finding one in my price range (AllClad for example is way too much for my modest income). When I saw this on Amazon for such a great price, I was concerened that the 8qt would be too big for my little kitchen. Since I couldn't find anything comparable, I went ahead and ordered it. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised that it isn't much bigger than the 6qt Wolfgang.The glass lid is fun because I can watch my stuff cook without lifting the lid. The handles stick out enough so that I don't burn my knuckels. They are also strategically placed to balance the weight, empty or full. I didn't notice that on the Wolfgang model.In anycase, I have fried bits of meat on the bottom and then added liquid for soups and sauces. I have added cold stuff to hot and not had a problem with loosing heat.This is a sturdy pot. The stainless steel is thick and it easy is to clean. It heats quickly when your hungry and can simmer sauce for hours without complaining.If you are looking for a stockpot (especially for spaghetti sauce), go with the Calphalon - you can saute tomatoes on the bottom without any concerns.

A pleasure to cook with

The first thing you notice about this pan is the weight. This is due to the thick bottom and solid sides. This construction allows for very even heat distribution and excellent results in cooking. With no "hot spots", there were no burns and clean up was easy. This is not the cheapest 8 qt. stock pot sold by Amazon, but it is one of the better ones and is a very good value. For boiling water, the cheap pots are fine, but for soups and sauces, invest in a good pot like this one.

Terrrrific,Tasty Tomato Sauce

Have you stopped making tomato sauce from scratch because it sticks to the bottom of the pan and burns if there isn't frequent stirring? Are you tired of the sauce from the jar? Don't fret anymore! This wonderful Calphalon Stockpot does it all. The sauce thickens from the bottom up without sticking. No more burned taste. No more wasting precious time making all those frequent trips to the stove to stir. I am so glad that I invested in this quality 8-Quart Calphalon Stockpot and so is my husband.
