Product Description

AEM pioneered the Cold Air induction system for sport compact cars in 1994. A Cold Air intake system relocates the filter outside of the engine compartment to deliver the coolest air inlet temperatures possible. Cooler air carries more oxygen, which translates into a more intense explosion in the combustion chamber to create more horsepower and torque. But that's only part of the power equation. Tuning the inlet pipe in length and diameter to match the engine's resonance helps move more air to the cylinders (think of your engine as a big air pump), and this tuning allows us to deliver the maximum power gains throughout the entire RPM range. We also monitor fuel trim correction factors and all OBDII sensors during R&D to eliminate leaning the engine out and/or throwing a check engine light. Our Cold Air systems are dyno-proven and tested against the competition with the goal of creating more useable power than any other system of their kind. Every AEM Cold Air induction system features the highest standards of construction and we are so confident in their fit and performance that we guarantee them for the life of your vehicle. All AEM Cold Air systems are either 50-state legal or pending (excluding "Off Road" and "Hybrid" systems), include a lifetime DRYFLOW Synthetic air filter and come with a limited lifetime warranty.

5Description are more accurate than pictures
By Generic Guru
The product was great. it was delivered on time and it fit my 06' nissan perfectly. The only thing that can say is to please pay close attention to the description and make a visual in your head by what the description says. Dont go by the pictures cause sometimes they can be inaccurate. The description said polished cold air intake system. Although the picture showed the item being white, I thought in my head that it was going to be a mixture of both (Polished and white). Because i thought that the product was going to be white, i was a little let down when i opened the box and saw that it was a metal polished item. But i took full responsibility to my actions of not paying more attentions to the description, so im still giving the product a 5 star cause it does what it supposed to do and it sounds great :)thinking that the product was going to be white when it clearly said polished is a total user error. so please pay more attention to descriptions and not just the pictures when buying because it helps a lot!

4Funky, stable, safe scooter
By P. Ju
I received my Micro Original Kickboard Scooter yesterday, as a replacement for a K2 Trifecta Kickboard I loved, bought in 1997 and lost in my move. What I love about this is its skateboard-style steering, brake (I've never quite learned how to slow down on a skateboard), one-handed operation, portability, solid construction, mod-ability, and uniqueness.I bet that those who rate this product poorly for stability, steering, handgrip design are trying to use it in a way it isn't intended. It won't behave being treated like a T-bar 2-wheeler. Following the instructions and keeping more of a skateboard stance in mind--feet at 45* angle or even perpendicular to the board--will yield a much stabler navigation control. With the K2 version I used to steer just with my feet, barely touching the stick at all. Also, to get super-tight turning instead of "falling over," counter-steer: if you ride with right foot forward and want to turn right, push on your heels to steer the board right while leaning your weight FORWARD (towards the LEFT side of the board, in order to keep your weight over the board) just hold the stick enough to keep your balance. Don't try to push/pull the stick to steer. Conversely if you ride with right foot forward and want to turn left, press your toes down to steer the board left and hang your body back as far as you can so your weight remains over the board. Now, what I miss about my old one - this new original is quite large. Seems significantly bigger in length, wheelsize, and joystick diameter. I liked the smaller, more portable size, but did not want the aluminum deck of the Micro Compact Kickboard. This one also seems much softer in the springs than I remember the other to be, and I want a stronger steer; springs are sold, so I'll just have to track them down. The K2 one came with two sets of different strength springs, which amusingly did make it through the move, though I may have finally tossed them. I can't tell whether there are strap or bag accessories for this device, nor can I see any place on it where I could clip a micro kickboard strap (probably meant for the T-bar 2-wheelers). I do dig the ergonomic grab to release the handle lock, though; the K2 had a machined metal dowel that was brutal to the thumb. Finally, this is such a great product, where are the fans and the info? It's so hard to find goodies about modding, adjusting, accessorizing; videos top out at 5 on YouTube. US distributors - please organize a social community where we can all share knowledge and fun about the Micro Kickboards!

5Excellent idea in Kickboard/Scooters!!
By David A. Anselmi
I've always found the 2-wheel scooter an interesting concept, but not nearly as robust (or fun) as my skateboard. Eg, why hold-on when you can be hands-free? Most-importantly, they wobble, both at slow speeds and high...Anyway, I got to play with a "K2" branded (Micro Original) unit imported from Japan, & was very impressed. Ever seen one of the old Citroen cars? The 2 front wheels' axel is much wider than the back, making the car incredibly stable, even if you swerve wildly. Well, the Micro's front 2 wheels act very similarly: this scooter is really tough to tip-over.My experience is based on 1/2hr use in a park w/ a 20deg downhill, but is so different from the guy in Japan, that I had to respond (he's posted a similar Review on at least 4 sites; okay, he doesn't like it, we get it... did he fall off or something?). :-)So, my guess is most of his issues are a 'style' thing, b/c my experience is the exact opposite:- It turns wonderfully. Very stable, & the spring-based 'tilt' works exactly like my skateboard. You can't lean as far as a skateboard, due to the heaviness of the handle & the limit of the trucks, & you definitely cannot turn on a dime like a 2-wheeler... but "topples over at the slightest angle" is a giant misnomer. Could you post an amazon video of this effect?- Wobbling? I wobble much more on a 2-wheel Razor than I do on the Micro. How fast was [he] going?- Wheels don't return / springs squeak: both sound like the trucks were weak; how old/beat-up was the Micro [he] tried?- Rubber 'ball' grip: This is completely stylistic. It is admittedly disconcerting for someone used to a "T-bar", but w/ some practice, it has a whole bunch of other advantages. First, you completely change the paradigm from 'steer' (ie, rotational leverage), to 'lean'. Next, single-handed steering is possible, which a T-bar won't allow. And finally, (as kickboardusa.com points-out), kids LOVE it. My 2.5yr/old daughter hopped on & was kicking-off w/in 5min, trying to go as fast as I did... whereas a 2-wheel Razor was a non-starter for her...- Too heavy. Well, good point... with the addition of 3rd wheel, trucks & heavy-duty aluminum, this is definitely not a low-end Razor... OTOH, a spring-loaded bike always weighs lots more than a non-sprung bike does, so this isn't unexpected. So this unit won't win horizontal speed records... but it's super-great for just coasting, & even better for downhill. And at low speeds, this will *not* wobble whereas a 2-wheel unit will.Plus not sure about his refund/return comment (did he buy thru Amazon?)... but he should try eBaying his; there's a healthy resale market, & someone else will snap it up.

5awesome scooter!!
By robnsus
I bought this for my daughter who was turning 11. It is a smooth ride and easy to handle for her. I wish each member of my family had one as we all have enjoyed riding it. We vary in height, are all between 100-200 pounds but it handles just as well no matter who is on it.

5Awesome scooter
By K. Prussack
Although I was a bit hesitant because of the price, I bought this scooter for my 11 year old son for his birthday and he absolutely loves it (as do the rest of the kids in his class and most of the adults we know.) It is sturdy and comfortable, suffering the uneven pavement in our urban environment with ease. It folds up easily and is not so heavy that he can't carry it up the four flights to his school. All in all, highly recommended.

5Awesome Scooter
By jjinthecrib
Had it for over a month. Easy to cruise and allows you to do tricks if you so choose. My 7-yr old likes it so much, he's inherited the scooter. Cruises without much hesitation on sidewalks, unlike his current "kid" scooter. I'll buy the same or another cruiser version of Micro. Absolutely awesome!

5Great quality
By Sky
We were looking at several different scooters for our 7 year old daughter. After testing this one in a store in Europe, there was no question which one to get. This scooter is durable and runs so smooth even on the cracked concrete in front of our house. It is a little higher in price but it also gets a lot more use since it became the most popular scooter on the block.

5A very high rung on the ladder to audio heaven.
By ricohman
I have been a Grado fan since a turntable I bought a few years ago had a 1980's version of the current Grado Blue. When I found a deal on Amazon that I could not pass up, I ordered a Grado Silver. I think it was on sale because buyers go for the least expensive black or the most, the gold. But the gold and silver models are identical, with gold simply being the best of silver q.a. wise. Since my old Grado was made, the generator design was improved, and the silver is also blessed with a better stylus, both the diamond and the cantilever. The sound is, in my opinion, absolutely superb: the famous Grado midrange, excellent, taught bass, well-detailed highs without listening fatigue. Plus, Grados are handmade in Brooklyn, by a traditional and caring company. Shipping was unbelievably fast, as well.

5Tremendous value; excellent performance
By bobatious
First of all, potential buyers from this seller should know that this is the current production, "Prestige Silver 1" model, not new-old-stock of the older "Prestige Silver". This is not obvious in the item posting - I contacted the seller to verify, and now doubly confirm this. This fact makes the selling price a superb deal to begin with. Now for the product itself. My turntable is an Origin Live suspended table with upgraded rega arm, similar to their current OL2 model, used with a Entec/Lehmann Black Cube phono preamp. The tracking force (1.5 g) was obtained on this rega-like arm with the "normal" counterweight very near its minimum space from the arm pivot, by the way. This cartridge was purchased to replace the 3x-more-expensive Dynavector 10x5, which my cat had destroyed by jumping on the dust cover (- really, but I digress).Initial listening after careful setup was tremendous - dead silent, lovely mid-range, smooth highs and dynamic but not overblown bass. Sounds of percussion instruments jumped out tangibly with superb tone. In other words, this is a very nice sounding sample of the Grado cartridge "legacy", and with the right tonearm and pre-amp it can work wonders. Extremely musical results made me just listen and stop analyzing.Only the very most picky folks will find it lacking in any way; for me, it seems to diminish slightly the dynamic impact I am used to with the Dynavector. Not definite as not tested A vs B directly; also the Dynavector costs 3x more. In summary, at this price, this cartridge is a superb deal and cannot be faulted.Re "hum": some have complained about hum with Grados: there is absolutely zero audible hum in my system with this cartridge at any time or place. I have payed close attention to grounding - always essential for no AC noise in any system but especially for phono playback. There is also no AC power of any kind, anywhere within my turntable - it uses a DC motor an only DC is provided to it via an external power supply. Any imperfect AC motor near your phono cartridge - any cartridge - will produce some "hum".Other cartridges considered: direct replacement (Dynavector 10x5), other moving coils e.g. Denon (high or low output), the prestige gold, and the Audio Technica AT440MLA. While various of these alternatives may have served well, I cannot imagine obtaining a significantly better result, and this was the least expensive option considered. Note that the Denon DL-103 (or DL-103R) has a spherical stylus. Some may prefer it but it is a very different item, mainly values dynamics against the tone and tracking you'll obtain with the Grado. In terms of price performance, and musical enjoyment, the prestige silver 1 reigns supreme. Highly recommended.

3You can do Better with your Money
By Leevo
Positives: detailed fluid sound, especially for a non-moving coil cartridge. Surface noise is kept to an acceptable level. Its "middle of the road" specifications should give it a wide arm compatibility. Though I would not recommend mounting it to a cheap tonearm. I had it initially attached to a Pro-ject 8.6" carbon arm, and the sound was too bass heavy. Compared to an ortofon 2m red, this cartridge is quite a lot betterNegatives: Sound isn't dynamic enough; kinda too laid back. Its worst feature is the humming it emits when close to AC power sources. Ie the vast majority of belt driven turtable motors! I wouldn't recommend it on this basis alone.I would very much recommend a Denon Dl-103 over this cartridge, as the price is comparable, yet the denon is a true moving coil cartridge with a very solid and dynamic performance, most probably the King at around $200 price level, with NO HUM!! Thanks for reading.

3Very good, but not a substitute for DB-90
By Christopher S. Cornette
If you are looking for a cut-down version of the Boss DB 90 Dr. Beat Metronome that is easier to take with you in a pocket, then this is for you. It keeps many of the most essential features that made Dr. Beat metronomes the best on the market years ago, and is much smaller and more portable. However, there are compromises: the volume controls for the beat divisions, bar line accents and overall volume control are very limited four-step controls (off, quiet, medium, and loud) controlled by successive presses of a button. This is not nearly as flexible or convenient as the sliders on the DB-90. Likewise, the tempo is controlled by buttons which are more awkward and less efficient the the scroll wheel on the original. Also, the maximum volume, though reasonable for a small metronome, is still very limited compared to its big brother.Overall, I'd say this is one of the best small metronomes on the market, but if the size isn't an issue, the DB-90 is well worth the extra money for flexibility, ease of use, and the many additional features. For the serious musician looking for a serious metronome, I recommend Boss DB 90 Dr. Beat Metronome. For those who already have a DB-90 and are looking for a more portable version of it, this DB-60 is a great choice.

5Awesome
By C. Maldonado
Dr Beats have always been great but the size was always an issue. This is everything you need in a compact metronome. you can use a ton of rhythmic patterns as well as program the time signature to change at the appropriate time. Its got a back light for when you need it, a pitch function for tuning, the buttons are easy to push. i can go on, but simply put this metronome is awesome. i found it for just over $60 so i don't feel like i took the hit of the original price ($90). which i would say is the only bad thing. the prices on these Dr beats are quite high, so shop around, but it's worth it,

4tiny, chirps like a bird
By skyaflya
Great design, fits in a shirt pocket. Can loop and join various beat patterns - fun to play with. Internal speaker tiny with slightly unpleasant chirping sound, but audio out can power earbuds or preamp for better sound.
