5Great pure Stratocaster sound
By stratplayer
The thing that sets these pickups apart is that they produce the purest clean highs. If you want the fat Texas blues sound, these are not going to do it for you without a distortion pedal. On the other hand, if you want the "Little Wing" sound, these are for you. I like them because you have a choice. You can get a clean, classic Strat sound and still get a bluesy sound by adding a distortion pedal. Remember that Jimi Hendrix played current (at the time) brand new strats, so this is essentially the sound he started with to create his final sound.By the way, the set that I got did not have a reverse wound middle pickup. That may have been a mistake on Fender's part, I don't know. I mention it in case it's important to you.For some reason, they don't get as much attention as other Fender pickups, but I am extremely happy with them.

5Get your strat this gift !!
By ToniMtl
You want an authentic vintage Strat sound? don't look further, these are the pickups you need. If you want to re-create Hendrix, early Pink Floyd's sound, these are the right pickups. I installed it on a standard Strat, and god.. I had like a new instrument!! you want keep you guitar all your life and enjoy it at its best, get pickups that will age naturally, then this is for you.Beware, these pickups are not warm like would be EMG or others, but you will keep that bright sound and a hear every note even with an moderate overdrive, your sound will have less overdrive than with standard pickups, but a lot brighter and like a Strat should sound like.I'm delighted I bought these pickups, even at twice their price looking back, I would do it again !!

5Best Pickup Ever
By Michael Reyes
If you want your classic Strat sound with lots of Clear bell chime sound this pickup is for you. If you want a warm hot sound look for something else. What good about this pickup is, if you put somekind of effects or distortion. You still don't lose those clear sounding of a strat. Down side is since all three pickups is the same in resistance point of view. You will find that the position 1 or bridge pickup will sound a little bit tiny and to bright. But if you can modify your strat to have seperate tone control on a bridge pickup that would be great. No reverse wound here so 60hz hum could bit an issue it depend on your setup. But I highly reccomend it to anybody who love classic rock and a little bit of rock and roll or blues player. Warning not for Metal heads and head banger alike.

5great motherboard for enthusiasts
By Paul Evans
This motherboard comes with twice the cables that you will need to set up a computer, so you will always have a handy replacement box full of parts in case something goes wrong (not very often) or you decide to upgrade. The northbridge has a passive cooler, which greatly reduces the noise of the computer. BIOS settings are decent and if you know what you are doing, you should have no problem with it. It also offers a program that will automatically overclock your rig. I haven't tried it, I could never bring myself to trust a program to play god with my $500 processor, but for those of you with regular Athlon 64s, set it and go.My computer:this moboAthlon 64 X2 4400+WD SE16 250GB SATA HDDXFX 7800GTZalman coolingAntec TruePower 2.0 550W PSU (HUGE cables, BTW)

ASUS A8N-SLI Premium is a top quality product.PROS: complete and very stable socket 939 solution with cooling heat-pipe technology(noiseless); SLI support; latest dual core CPU support; dual channel memory DDR400; nVidia's RAID technology ; 2 Gigabit ethernet ports with firewall; Firewire; excelent lay-out; overclock support and very good performance. ASUS added also a secondary 3114R SATA RAID controller (by Silicon Image) supporting RAID0,0,0+1,5 modes. Outstanding!CONS: none so far.I am using this motherboard with Athlon 64 San Diego 3700+ overclocked @ 2,75 GHz (original clock = 2,2 GHz); graphics card e-VGA 7900 GT KO and Corsair memory XMS C2PT 2x512 Mb.

5Prints & paints
By Carlgo
I had been looking for a printer that would do a good job of printing both text and photos. It is clear that a firehose full of ink can't match a laser in terms of text crispness and accuracy. But, although I was not going into the the bogus diploma business, I needed an affordable printer with decent text and color and that means an inkjet.2 picoliter nozzle sizes have been available for some time and I thought that 1 picoliter units were sure to come and that spec might deliver good text output. When I saw the ads for the Canon iP5200 (i.p., u.p.. ?), I did the research and bought one through Amazon. The text is indeed very nice, better than my old Canon i455 printer and seems to be limited only by the paper's roughness factor. This printer deserves the best paper, at least for professional documents. It will print out 4-point fonts perfectly and would likely go lower, but 4 is the lowest I have. Other reviewers on other sites have also given this unit high marks for text.Text quality is objective; you could measure it if you had a teeny-tiny tape measure. Photo quality is more subjective. People that can't see their own shoes have all sorts of opinions on color quality.Every digital camera has settings that can alter color emphasis and of course processing programs do the same. It is hard to determine if printed colors are the result of a camera's settings or those of the printer. The same is true when printing scans of slides as the 4x5 Velvia film I use is itself upfront colorful. My S3 Nikon has a landscape setting that, among other things, makes sure that green foliage is green. A shot of my yard makes it look like Hawaii. The portrait mode gives very nice skin tones, no colors emphasis at all. Very accurate.I think most cameras emphasize colors and contrasts a bit because most people like that. Generally the "automatic" setting is configured to produce a snappy colorful small print. Check out the tvs in your local box store; most are set at high brightness and color settings, really unnatural, but they tend to standout from those more "honestly" set. Often the tvs they are trying to move are really set high. Some cameras, like the Canons, tend to have higher sharpness settings automatically applied in the camera, while other brands expect you to determine and set your own levels later in the process. This factor can effect printing. And there are other factors and filters and... no limits in the digital world. All that is just to say that printed colors are only partially due to the design of the printer itself. I find no fault with the colors on the iP5200. Bright color comes out snappy and moody shots glower darkly. If the shots are good and the sharpness settings are carefully applied, the prints are very sharp, detailed and pleasing in every way. Those that have seen the prints are very impressed with their technical quality. Small picoliters are not everything, but they work for me.The 5200 uses just three color cartridges and two black one for photos and text. While there is a case for more colors (I suppose 25 colors would be better than 5 or 7 or...) it does not seem to me that any part of the color spectrum is weak or lacking in any way. Other reviewers have mentioned that Canon is way ahead in terms of economical ink usage. Others have said they have printed zillions of photos and the tanks are hardly down. I have not printed a huge volumn, but clearly it is better than my older Canon. That and the fact that there are only five tanks means that this printer should be economical to operate. The ability to refill tanks, or not because of anti-refilling technology, is a hot-button issure in printer reviews. To some, the inability to refill is a deal killer. Others cite terrible problems with aftermart ink. With only five tanks, superior ink conservation and with my plan to take any large volumns to the commercial printers, I do not think I will go broke buying Canon ink. I am a problem solver, but hate problems. One thing to remember is that to access the 1 picoliter standard you cannot just use the "best photo" setting when in the print menu. You have to select the "detailed" slider bar and you cannot slide that knob all the way unless you also select the Pro paper option. All my results are based on using Canon pro glossy paper. Finally (you say), is this the best printer for you? For me it was because of the combination of text quality, print quality and price (I opted for free shipping also). My feeling is that vastly more expensive printers with many more tanks must have some advantage in the photo printing area. However, the cost of the inks, problems with clogging, etc. on some of those models is more than I would want to deal with.My feeling is that if you are going to try to squeeze out theoretical details on photos of aliens landing on the White House lawn, or if people really might buy your photos, or if you are printing hundreds of photos, you are far better off getting real prints on actual photo paper printed on machines that cost many 10s of thousands of dollars. These services are available on-line, at box stores and at larger independent print shops. I try to use the local independents as much as I can.The software works very well on my OS10X Mac. I download the images straight into iPhoto and then the printable images are moved through Adobe Elements. To me, the iP5200 is a really good product and I recommend it. I did like that black case on the iP5000 model, though and I have not had it long enough to tell you anything about its reliability.

4Almost Perfect
By R. Rodman
The ip5200 is my 5th Canon Printer. I have found them all to be reliable solid performers, and the 5200 is no exception. It is easy to set up and comes with a simple software package. Compared to my earlier Canon printers(i860, ip5000), it is faster and quieter, and prints a beautiful picture, especially on Canon paper. Only time will tell if the new inks are truly superior. My only complaint, and it was also true with the ip5000, is that I believe that Canon printers tend to highlight the orange/reds. For example, fields of wheat have a slight orange hue rather than a pure straw yellow color. If this tendency bothered you before, it is still there. For me, I can easily fix it with my photo software package, but because of it Canon only gets 4 stars.

5This is how it's supposed to work!
By Kelli
I have been so pleased with my IP5200! It is very quiet compared to my old Epson Photostylus 820 Which gave me nothing but problems after the first month of use... always clogging and needing cleaning. Literally used a completely full color ink cartridge on nothing but cleaning cycles and didn't get even a single good print... but that's all behind me now. I have printed some incredible photos on my new Canon printer! I can hardly believe the quality it produces for the price I paid (about 130 dollars). The problems with scratching of the surface of the glossy photo paper is a real one, but I think it has alot to do with the paper itself being very very glossy and showing even the slightest abrasion. I found it left abrasion marks even with the prevent abrasion setting on. But if I use the top feed there isn't that problem. I don't do high volume printing so it's no big deal for me to use the top feeder, and keep my photo paper in the cartons until I'm ready to use it. At any rate, I have no complaints, the ink is cheaper than Epson and the thing has worked with no problems at all for a month now. Thank you Canon!

4Good Name-Brand Memory For A Good Price
By W. M. Christy
I ordered two sticks of memory for a total of 1 GB. They came individually packed in standard plastic packaging with a piece of pink foam (anti-static) in each package, shipped in a bubble-pack envelope. I thought the shipping package could have bean a little better, but apparently it worked. At first I was getting a memory error; my system was acting flaky and rebooting randomly. However, once I adjusted my bios settings some, everything worked fine. Basically, I had over-tweaked the memory for performance greater than it could provide, so I just dialed the settings back a bit and now everything is fine. I've since run numerous memory tests without any errors. I have had no problems since, and no complaints. My old computer has new life with 1.5 GB of memory and Ubuntu Linux <--and I highly recommend Ubuntu, too. Good deal.

5Great tasting snack crackers!
By Vanessa Strange
I think of all the Carr's crackers, the poppy and sesame are the best. Watch out, they're addicting, you can munch on them as if they're potato chips. I love these with my nut butters, cheese, you name it. Amazon had a terrific deal on them for awhile, at something like $17.00 for twelve boxes, but now they've raised it to the same price as the other Carr flavors, $30.00, so they're no longer such a terrific bargain.Bummer.But I'm still buying them, not as frequently.

5The Best Crackers Ever!
By Couch Potato
These are my all time favorite crackers. They're so delicious that they can actually be addictive. After you have eaten 2 or 3 a strong very good flavor starts to accumulate on your tongue. And you start to crave more of that great flavor. And then, the more crackers you eat, the more you crave another. -The bad part is that these can be difficult to find. I first discovered these at local supermarkets about 10 years ago. But then, after a few years .They disappeared from all of my local stores. Then, about a year after they disappeared from local stores, Amazon started to carry them. But Amazon is often out of stock on these. Including a recent period when Amazon didn't have any for over a year. So if you want any. You have to grab them as soon as you see that any are available. -I was pleasantly surprised when Amazon recently made them available thru Subscribe and Save. Aside from the lower price and free delivery. Maybe that's an indication that Amazon now expects to always have these in stock. -

5Excellent Work Shoes
By KW
This is my second pair of these Caterpillar shoes. My first pair lasted over one year, and I wore those shoes at a minimum of five days a week and ten hours a day. These shoes are incredibly durable, comfortable and light weight. They are very long lasting shoes; which is why I decided to get a second pair in July 2010. My first pair I purchased in April 2009. They look good too!

5Light, durable, safe
By IK
These are a really good pair of work/sport shoes. I bought the pair that I am wearing right now in 2005, and they are still in good condition. I wear them in all seasons at least 5 days a week, and I'm relatively active. I never have treated the leather. They are fraying a little bit here and there, but practically none of the stitching has come undone yet. The tread is wearing thin, but I still have no problem with traction during the winter. You'll likely need to replace the shoelaces a couple times because the steel rivets can wear through them if you lace them up tight repeatedly. They are steel toe which comes in useful. They smell great the first year or two you have them (leathery-ish). They go with both jeans and shorts. I'll likely buy another pair soon. Highly recommend these shoes!

5Caterpillar Work Oxfords
By R.T.L.
This is my second pair of Caterpillar work shoes. The first pair is still in great condition, but I couldn't pass on the deal I got on these $45 shipped). They fit about 1/2 size large, but adding insoles made them fit perfectly. I was surprised at the sizing difference between the two pairs. I am on my feet all day at work and these shoes are much easier on my feet than any other work shoes I have used. Most of these shoes sell for, or over, $100. This is more than I would want to pay, but they are probably worth it.

5Healthy family
By Cynthia Sisson
I was looking for something sweet that I as a diabetic and my husband and son could all share. Usually if it says sugar free then it means it has a chemical taste. But not these cookies they taste just like the regular cookies. I highly recommend them. You do not have to be a diabetic to eat them. They are made with splenda and I use splenda in a lot of things, I also use the brown sugar splenda in my cooking. These cookies are great.

5my mother's favorite cookie
By Madonna
I have yet to try this product personally, because it is not currently available at our supermarket. But my mother, soon will be 94, mildly diabetic and a long-time customer for sugar-free products, says they are the best! For some reason our store carries the other Murray varieties, but not this one any more, maybe because there are so many kinds. Mother picks out her own groceries, and was in the habit of buying these about every other week. She bought two other Murray's packages this week, but really wanted the peanut butter. That's why I went searching the internet for them. After I receive them, (12 boxes!) I probably will keep at least one box to try for myself. (It would be nice to be able to buy an assortment from Amazon rather than so many of one variety--that would be a lot for a 94-year-old woman to eat, even if they are that good!)

4Great idea for 'Subscribe and Save'
By S. Berg
These are a great treat for my kids. I don't like to buy this in the grocery store because one box is a little expensive and the 9 pouches and don't go that far. With Amazon's subscribe and you save an extra 15% off what I typical pay for them in the grocery store and shipping is free. They like them so much I have to keep them put up or my kids will go through 2 boxes in a day without any problem. You get 6 retail boxes, with 9 pouches in each box, and they make a great snack for when you are on the road or to pack in a lunch box. They are individually wrapped in a small packets so you don't have to worry about them getting stale and they are easy to transport.

5Great taste...runs out fast!
By B. Rodriguez
I was so happy to find these on Subscribe & Save!!! My children love these (and so do I) and we have a hard time finding them at the grocery store. They taste even better than regular cheez-its in my opinion. When I say they run out fast, I don't just mean at the grocery store! Each box brings 9 packets (the subscribe & save shipment brings 6 boxes, each box having 9 packets) and between my 3 children and myself, we go through one box in no time! I'm hoping the 6 boxes will last through the month :-)

5Solid product and a good value.
By Jerry Scoggins
The unit is solidly built(steel enclosure), and works flawlessly like all my other Netgear switches. It's perfect for applications that need PoE to power Wireless access points, or for my purpose of powering and connecting a bunch of IP security cameras. A nice surprise was the price for this unit as it's much less than other PoE switches I looked into. In addition, having the two Gigabit connections were perfect for connecting it into my Gigabit backbone, and continuing the chain. I've yet to enable and configure CoS or other advanced features, but the UI seems straightforward. I'm not an IP expert, so this switch was a nice option rather than going to a managed switch. My only complaint with the unit is the fan is louder than I expected, noticeable loud in a room with a couple computers also running. All my other switches have been fanless, so I'm spoiled. In the end, I'd purchase another one. In fact I probably will real soon.

5What a deal!
By Paul G. Lucas
I purchased two for our new Voice over IP phone system and I works great! Took it straight out of the box, plugged it in and it's been working like a charm. No configuration, just plug and play. Please keep in mind that only 12 of the 24 ports are POE ports. We saved $2,000 by purchasing this product over a simular Nortel switch.

5get's the job done!
By Walter Wright
Excellent product. Just a simple plug and play. Quickly found our POE devices (cameras) and instantly provided the correct power. We were very concerned that there would be enough power for each camera and there was. The power requirement was Class 3 which means it had to provide 15 watts of available power per each POE port. (We were advised that this is very important.) It was hard to find a POE switch that provided the correct amount of wattage budget we required. Most manufactures are a little bit secretive about revealing the total watt output for the POE ports. The Netgear switch was placed in a position after a DHCP router. And it handles our IP cameras great using just a Cat5. Also, manages the non-POE devices easily and interfaces with our larger ethernet switch. Some reviews said it was a bit noisy, but this is not obvious in our home run room. We have not used the gigabit ports. We think the unit is worth the extra expense.

5Canon MP500: EXCELLENT PRINTER!!
By james
This printer is great!! I got this printer about two months ago, paid $150 from amazon, and I've had very few complaints. It truly is a great printer, and exceeded my expectations. I was hesitant at first to get this printer because I wasn't actually able to find it in stores (not available at the major electronic stores), and didn't have a chance to test it out ahead of time. Trust me on this though, it really is great!PROS:Simple to set upExcellent print qualityGreat software (easy to use)Memory slotsGreat color LCD displayPrint on both sides of the paper without having to do any work!!2 paper feeders (comes in handy...automatically switches when one is out)Very quickCheap Cartridges (around $12 per color)5-cartridge printer (when one color runs out, you don't have to replace the whole cartridge, just the one that is out)Extremely easy to install cartridges (lights inside the printer tell you whether it is installed properly or not)Easy to scan and copyQuiet (once it has "warmed up"EXCELLENT VALUE (beats most of the $300-400 printers)CONS:a bit BIG and clunkyno faxtakes a while to "warm up" (once it warms up...its FAST)This is by far the best printer I have ever used. The only concern I would have is that if you don't have much space, you might be in trouble, but that would be the case with almost any other all in one (this is a little bigger than normal though). I already had a fax, so the fact it didn't have that feature wasn't a big letdown, but if you have to have a fax, I would still go with Canon (cheapest cartridges and great quality). When you turn the printer on, or if you haven't used it in a while, it will make wierd noises (I guess its "warming up"?) for 20-30 seconds, but then its good to go for a while.I would definitely suggest this printer to anyone looking for a great multifunction printer, especially if on a budget.

5The Best
By S. E Gewin
I have had many printers and multifunction printers but this one has to be the best of the lot. It is easy to set up and the photo prints I have printed have had the best colors and no blurring what so ever of the lines. There are two paper trays so I keep photo paper in one and plain paper in the other so I do not have to physically get up and change out the paper. The MP500 has a smaller footprint than other multifunction printers which saves space. You can connect your camera directly to the printer or insert the camera memory card or print from your computer. This is a wonderful product and Canon knows what people want and need with a reasonable price.

5CANON IS FANTASTIC!
By C. France
I am very impressed. I have had my printer for about a week and have enjoyed every moment. I have found it easy to use and the picture editing software is good.PRO'S: 8 1/2 x 11 pictures are perfect! Colors are bright and vivid and extremely CLEAR! No grainy ink dots or lines.Fast (but not a speed demon)Ink was easy to install (click in place and a light comes on to let you know that the cartridge is installed properly). The 2.5 inch viewing screen angles so that I can see the image on the screen even when the lamp is right above me. No glare. The menu was easy to use. I thought it was very easy to set up for my personal preferences.CON'S: This thing is extremely large. I have a printing drawer built into my computer desk and the MP500 would not fit into the space. Made my other all-in-one look like a baby. I had to make room for a smaller table on wheels in the corner to put this baby on and purchase a longer USB cable ($25).USB cable is not included (most printers do not include this item).Shiny and black make this beauty a dust magnet and shows every fingerprint.Anyway, the cons would not prevent me from purchasing this item. I searched forever before deciding on it. I didn't think the price was bad at all for what you get. The print resolutions up to 9,600 x 2,400 dpi color and 600 x 600 dpi black are what pushed me to buy it. I'm not disappointed.A button must be pushed to open the slot where the paper comes out. I am finally getting used to opening it before trying to print. Pushing the button will become a habit before long and I won't think much of it but it has annoyed me a little.I bought the Canon Powershot S2 before Christmas and I think the two items truly compliment each other. I've taken amazing pictures of the moon that show craters in great detail (I'm not a very good photographer and I'm still getting impressive results) and the MP500 prints each picture beautifully. This is a winner!
