Great Stool!

I have had the tall version of this stool since feb 2011. It is great! I have been using different types of bar stools for years but this beats them hands down. I am 6'3", 350 lbs and a active musician. It also works great when turned upside down as it holds my guitar stands, amp mic stand, pedal board, amp stand and anything else I can fit into it for transporting stuff to and from venue to vehicle on my dolly. I always play sitting down and the double support ring ads a lot of stability. I am hard on stools while playing by moving around and turning alot and so far the swivel seat has withstood my weight without a problem. The saddle shape keeps my legs from falling asleep like they did with round seats that cut off circulation. It takes a little time to get accustomed to the saddle but it is well worth it. I am buying the short version for my wife to use.

I received my Roc-n-Soc stool a week or so ago. I must say I was anxious to receive it considering the glowing reviews that I read. This stool is the best. It is very comfortable, can be adjusted to two different heights, has foot rest bars, the seat rotates, and best of all IT CAME ASSEMBLED! I am just learning the guitar and being comfortable is important, something you shouldn't have to think about along with everything else you are trying to master.You won't be disappointed if you purchase this stool.

The ROCK-N-SOCK is a great piece of gear if you play Guitar, Bass, Keyboards or any instrument and you want/need to sit down to do it. Even singers could get used to this amount of cush! After more than 20 years playing in clubs back in the day, I sure could have used one of these things rather than the standard drum throne that was available then. I am happy to own it now and this is why:This thing is COMFORTABLE! The seat cushion, shaped somewhat like a saddle (but more rounder) is a joy to sit on. It is thick, well padded and springy. (a bit like myself) I have climbed aboard this bad boy for more than an hour at a time while playing my Sheraton II and never got uncomfortable. The seat swivels , you've got a place for your feet and the build quality is robust. Never once did I feel 'tippy' or have any reason to believe the ROC K-N-SOCK would collapse or fall over.Add to that the fact that it comes FULLY assembled when shipped and also that it is very nice looking. You really couldn't ask for more, other than perhaps a backrest. This is a great piece of gear and at this low price adding it to your rig is a real no brainer. I just wish more of my gear was built this well! I had my doubts when ordering but have since been won over completely! Highly recommended!!
