5Five Star Product
By S. Miller
The Cuisinart Multiclad SS cookware continues to impress me with their quality, performance and value. The thoughtful design of this particular pan indicates the influence of an experienced cook. A large, easily accessable bottom area for browning and ingredient sauteeing coupled with just enough pan volume for layering those and other ingredients to construct simple to complex casseroles or braises. Then, with oven friendly handles, the ability to go direct from stove-top to hot oven to complete the cooking process. Simple and practical design, great performance, quality and value.

5A Perfect Pan
By V. Delandry
When looking for a perfect braising pan w/lid, I never thought I'd find it under casseroles. I needed something that could go from stovetop to oven, not too heavy, no long handle, and not too big.The product page didn't give dimensions but it looked as though it "was the one" and with the ease of Amazon returns I decided to take a chance.Think of it as a saute pan without the long handle. It's 16" handle to handle, 12" diameter, and 3" high. Yes, the handles get hot, but I'm used to pot-holders. It was perfect for a braised brisket receipe I wanted to try. I got so excited with it that I decided to make chili on the top of the stove. I used one of those "simmer" pads under it (my stove is gas & simmering is hard to control) and again it worked perfectly. It's no more difficult to clean than any other quality stainless pan (I have no dishwasher). Soap, water, Barkeeper's Friend and a little care. Good pans are worth the effort.I have a feeling I'm going to use it a lot. P.S. If anyone knows the dimensions on the 3 quart version, I would love to know.

5Attractive Serving Piece
By Selective Shopper
This pan was perfect for our sweet potato casserole this past Christmas. I set the pan on the table alongside the china serving bowls, and it looked lovely and kept the food warmer than anything else I might have used. The handles enable me to get the hot pan out of the oven much easier than if I were to use a ceramic dish without handles. I'm sure I'll use this pan when I need to pop a dish under the broiler for a quick browning. It's a practical, beautiful, well-made cooking and serving piece.
