Beautiful and elegant

I had this watch on my wish list for many months and just couldn't justify buying it. Then, last week, the battery died on my Movado, leaving me with only one option - a very dressy gold Longines, something I didn't want to wear every day. So I ordered this little beauty. It arrived in 4 days (Amazon rocks!)and it is exactly as described. It is beautiful enough to wear for dress and inexpensive enough to wear as a 'knock-about'. My husband and I have both owned other Seikos and have had good luck with them. My first one was a mechanical which we bought in Jamaica. I lost is at a shopping mall over 40 years ago when the clasp failed. I've missed it ever since. This one reminds me of it with its lovely blue face.Two reviewers complained that the watch was heavy. I does have substantial weight. However, if the bracelet is adjusted to fit correctly, I cannot see that being any problem. Beautiful face & a mix of gold and silver metal band. I had a heck of a time figuring out how to remove a link, but thanks to Bing search, I located instructions. Fortunately, I had bought a watch tool kit & had the necessary tools to push out the pins (in direction of arrow) and put back together. It took some muscle & perseverance, but it was worth it for a perfect fit.

Nice watch but too heavy

The watch was nice but way too heavy for me. It was hard to tell from the picture how wide the band was. Very heavy for a woman. No problem with the seller, but the 10% restocking fee caught me by surprise.
