This Was My Cookware (period)

I've owned and used this Evernew Titanium pot as my main personal cookware at home (and for camping) for a long time now. I just happen to like titanium objects and when I saw a chance to get a small saucepan in titanium, I just splurged and bought it on a whim. It has turned out to be one of the best kitchen investments I ever made. Not only is it still in service, but it essentially looks almost new still despite almost daily use (during my bachelor days). It was just the right size for a single serving meal, heat transfer was excellent, the non-stick coating made it very easy to clean, it had a lid, and it had handles. Every thing I needed in a pot. This, and a wok style frying pan, and I was good to go in the kitchen.I do use it for camp cooking and I suppose it is my survival cookware of choice, so that is why I need to mention that it weighs next to nothing (10 grams? I don't know). It IS ultra-light. Yet the walls are amply thick (like soup can thick) and crushing or bending it is not really a problem that I worry about. Surprisingly the vinyl rubber handle coverings have also held up. They are good for handling the pot when it is hot off the fire or stove AND they greatly reduce the stray noise of the folded handles when packing it in. I seem to remember that it also came with a nylon drawstring bag, but I have long since lost track of that.A titanium pot (or anything titanium) may seem expensive at first, but it will pay for itself in the many years of service that it will give. I am happy with my Evernew pot.
