I am pleased with this seller and item

I ordered two of the detectors, one for me one for a friend, they were shipped before the projected date and delivered before the projected date.I read the manual from the manufacture website so I was ready to go straight out of the box. I tested the detector out in my front yard and pulled out a 1989 quarter within moments of installing the batteries. This machine is great.We hit a local park just after a fair and grabbed some coins in the grass then went to an old baseball field and found an old brass water spigot. There is another park in town that is smaller and found some shredded soda cans from a lawn mower. I gave up on a couple holes because I couldn't really pinpoint the exact location. I think it was because there were too many shredded soda cans in the area. This thing works. I can't wait to go out to the swim beaches and playgrounds. There are several noted Civil War battle sites in Oklahoma so maybe a musket ball or infantry button or belt buckle will turn up.I would recommend this detector to anybody starting out. If I ever find a real payday I'll get a top dollar model ($2,000). Until then I plan on many family adventures with this fine tool right here.

I ordered this unit from Detector Electronics Corp. After using it, I thought I might have bought a defective product. I contacted the seller via email and he called me the next day. He gave me advise to try new batteries. I did this a week later, but was still not happy with the product. I contacted via email the seller again and again I got a call the next day telling me that I would be shipped another new unit, and to return the original in the box that the new one came in, with a prepaid label that would be included. A couple of days later I got the new detector... a Bounty Hunter Discovery 2200. I tried it out, and it worked great. I packed the old one into the box, put the provided return label on it, and took it to UPS.I appreciated the kind service I got from the people at Detector Electronics Corp. NOT giving me a run-around, and giving me GREAT and PROMPT service on a defective product. Dan called me twice on his dime and told me both times he would take care of me... which he did.I am a novice at using detectors, and I am happy with my purchase. So far I have found a 30's era brass/bronze Tarzan Radio button, in about 5 inches of soil... well more items then just that, but that is the most interesting and valuable item.
