Awesome base layer!

The Rho is an awesome base layer with clasic Arcteryx quality and attention to detail. Great for hiking, running climbing in cool weather, fits snug so order up accordingly especially if you have an athletic build!

Nothing beats Merino wool as a base layer material; don't waste time or money on synthetics. Exceptionally warm, stay's dry, and oder free day after day. This was my first Arcteryx purchase and won't be my last. I'm 6'2" 170lbs and the medium fits great and not too short in the torso. I admit I almost gave this 4 stars because when it arrived it had a nickle size hole in the belly. Fortunately I live near Backcountry and replaced it easily. But based on the performance I had to give it 5 stars.

I like this top. The large on my 6'1" 200 lbs frame is definitely athletic fit but its not insanely next to skin like icebreaker Large products are. If I lost my middle age 10, it'd be perfect. Its nice and warm, and well constructed. Wish, however, it had thumb holes. Only worse it casually as a mid layer on a few really cold park city nights so can't comment on breathability yet.
