Crisp, brilliant, bright, very vocal little crash!

Got one of these about 3 months ago, accidentally. Ordered an A Custom series, but was sent an A series by mistake and was going to send it back, but after one strike, I was hooked. I play mostly country, gospel style in churches and sometimes outside and this crash cuts through the music like a crash cymbal should. Pairs great with my 15" A Custom crash and my 11" K Custom hybrid splash. Great for country, blues, gospel, rock! This cymbal would be a great primary crash in small to medium sized venues. I have owned SO many different types of crash cymbals (A Custom, K Custom, K Custom Hybrids, Sabian AAXs) and this cymbal tops them all. I played drums from 1978 to 1988 when I then joined the Army, taking a 20 year sabbatical from playing drums. When I started playing again in 2009, I couldn't find the sound that I remembered when I played 25 years ago. I found it in the A series!

Always loved Zildjians. I bought this to replace an old Sabian 14" that cracked (I've had a bad history with Sabian's cracking). It sounds great!
