The product helped me to get my Old Towne tandem kayak off the garage floor. The components of the product appear to be good solid parts that will last a long time. Installation instructions are clear and easy to follow. My recommendations: 1) Don't start your preparations for installation until you receive the instructions. 2) Follow the instructions and you won't go wrong. 3) Buy a cleat ($1.99 at Ace Hardware) to mount on your wall and wrap the cord around becuase that is the only component that I needed that is not a part of the Harken Hoister package.

Excellent quality and well engineered

I just obtained a beautiful 16' wood stripper canoe and wanted nothing but the best to store it. I also wanted something that would allow me to store it with the tips of the bow and stearn all the way to the ceiling in my garage. Setting the canoe on saw horses, I was able to adjust the straps provided to the exact length needed to accomplish this. Other products I checked out didn't appear to give you the ability to lift the boat as high as the Harken setup. This product is well designed with very clear instructions for installation. All you need is two pieces of 2x4 or 2x6 to properly mount the hardware. And, as another buyer reported, you'll want to buy one or two cleats to keep the rope tidy and secure on your wall. If you're not a real handy type with good tools you'll want to find someone who is. And take time to make sure your layout will work properly when its installed. I had to put mine in sideways due to other constraints.

It's nice and light

The Laptop case with wheels is really amazing. I can use it in different ways depending on my school needs. What I love most about it is the black nylon material it's made of because it's very durable, dirt-resistant and very light and easy to carry. One drawback: it doesn't give maximum protection to your laptop. You might wanna buy an extra protective sleeve for it.

These Have Changed My Game

Hey, now! These have been the best things that I have bought to help my game. The Riptide is now my favorite driver. The rim is just the right width for me to hold betwixt my thumb and index. It cuts through the air quite swiftly, launched from my Flick drive. I'm a little guy, 5'6" and a buck fifty, so the Flick is where it's at for me. The Tsunami is now my mid-range choice. It fades at a good rate for wrap-around shots. I've used the Squall to hit up attempts that are just out of range for a putter. It has a good feel in the hand and with the Pro plastic, it can roll just right. And finally, but by no means last, the Reef is da bomb shizzle-dizzle! Buy this set and you will not be disappointed. You'll see that DGA has put out a superb set of discs for a fair price. May your fairways be long and your putts short.

Weatherguard greenhouse review

I am very satisfied with the greenhouse with exception of 2 problems I ran into. Being a short 5' 3" woman, I had no problems at all with putting up the 6'x8' greenhouse all on my own with no ladder. The only tool I needed was a Phillips screwdriver. The instruction manual was very easy to understand, and the parts were labeled with a letter to correspond to the directions. I actually googled "Weather Guard assembly instructions" and printed it out before I got the greenhouse to see if I would be able to understand them and put it up on my own. I just set it up in my back yard on a flat spot. I don't have any kind of a rock or wood foundation to put it on, so I purchased from Menard's, 4 treated wood, premade squares to sit under the greenhouse corners and bolted the greenhouse to them. I also purchased an anchor kit and fastened the greenhouse to the ground. All the tubes fit into each other just fine, and then the canopy went on easily for me. It only took me about 2 -3 hours, and that was taking my time. My first problem was the back panel of the greenhouse did not have the premade holes around the edge. I had to lay the front panel that did have the holes in it, on top of the back one, and trace the hole spots. Then I had to use a hole puncher and punch out all the holes on the back panel. I had to use both hands to squeeze hard enough to penetrate the plastic and boy did my hands get sore! The other problem I had was the ratchet tie downs come in a package, and you have to figure out how to get the strap into and through the ratchet, and figure out how to attach the ratchet to the frame. The instructions don't tell you how to do that. I got so frustrated with it that I just pulled the straps taunt, and tied them in a knot around the frame. It seems to work. For my first greenhouse, and being a novice at greenhouse growing, I am happy with it so far. The first two days after I set it up, there were severe thunderstorms and it did not leak at the seams or anywhere. I'm afraid of what a hail storm might do to it. The canopy was in good condition as were all the parts. I would recommend this greenhouse to anyone as a beginner's greenhouse, or someone who has few plants and does not need to reproduce a lot of plants and seed starting. It fills up fast.

Ok, but

Bought this last summer before price jumped up. Well made with solid pipes for support. I used Tek screws to hold pipes together. This spring, the front door zipper failed and a replacement piece is pretty expensive (around $80). I am trying to figure out how to put in my own door, as I don't think a new zipper door would work any better. Otherwise, the material is holding well. It does not keep heat in very well only having maybe a 3-4 degree improvement on outside temps overnight. It does heat up quickly once the sun is up and has gone over 100 degrees during an early season heat spell we had here in Massachusetts

My son and I own a very ugly truck, a '75 Cargostar. My intention is to paint it up to resemble a passenger locomotive of the Union Pacific Railroad, so a revolving amber flasher is a must. I am happy to say that this unit is an acceptable facsimile of high quality, at a very attractive price. Installed easily, works reliably. It's bright enough to grab attention during the day, and sweeps a respectable pair of beams around the vehicle at night.Very happy with this purchase!

Inexpensive at 35.29 and 8.15 shipping GREAT PRICE Originally offer stated 35.29 with free shipping and there were two Wolo 3600-A Power Amber Beams in stock. The free shipping involved a membership of an estimated 79.00 some odd dollars and additional lower fee each time a member would order. You would have to read the fine print in the agreement yourself. Well I decided the free shipping wasn't for me and continued with the purchased of two Power Amber Beams. Then a notice came up and said only one available. Ordered the one right away and paid 8.15 for shipping. When I went back to check the site of purchase the price jumped to 99.00 on the existing one in stock. Seller can sell them at 35.29 or show them at 99.00 Seller's choice. I will not pay over 50.00 for any single light It's only used for snowplowing not a big deal too me.

Playmobil Pavilion or Gazebo

This is a great add on set for the Grande Mansion. My kids just love it. They are using it as a family room/guest house. The patio part is great for family barbecues and tea parties. Right now they are getting it ready for the big Fourth of July party that their family is hosting. They have future plans for all the major holidays.If you have read any of my other reviews you know that we are huge Playmobil fans. I highly recommend these toys.Just make sure that you buy age appropriate sets because they do come with little parts.

Finally! Playmobil releases the "Confederacy of Dunces" playset!

Ever since Walker Percy first "discovered" the brilliant novel "A Confederacy of Dunces," playmobil fans from all over the world have been waiting for the release of this magnificent set. Included in this first edition of the "Confederacy" series of play pieces is the protagonist of Mr. John Kennedy Toole's Pulitzer-winning (posthumously published) novel, the one-and-only Ignatius Reilly. Although the playmobil rendition is less corpulent than we have imagined, his "Paradise Hot Dogs" uniform is perfect. The buyer must beware however! You must add the pirate eye-patch and scabbard from another playmobil set, and you must fashion your own gay and lesbian denizens of New Orlean's French Quarter (who are Mr. Reilly's most frequent customers outside of his own liberal samplings) from various playmobil playsets. Thank goodness they just released the "Fairy" series this spring!!We are all looking forward to the next playmobil playset in the "Confederacy of Dunces" series, namely the Levy Pants factory, complete with Construction X system, disgruntled african american employees, and a much anticipated "Crusade for Moorish Dignity" plastic "banner" for Ignatius Reilly's beleagured but disinterested african american colleagues to carry!And lastly, playmobil plans on releasing "Miss Trixie" (aka "La Trixie") as a playmobil special just in time for Christmas 2008--the perfect stocking stuffer.

Good at this price point

I bought 2 of these - one for my little 17" secondary monitor and one for my wifes 24" primary montor.On the 17", everything went very smoothly and setup was simple. The one issue you should keep in mind with this arm is that it's tight - very tight, so when you attach a lightweight monitor to it, you'll need more than average force to move it into place.On the 24", things were more interesting. Technically, this arm isn't rated for a monitor this large, but as I've discovered with other arms, the size of the monitor is mostly irrelevant - it's the weight you have to keep in mind and the 24" monitor fell under the weight this arm is rated for, so that wasn't the problem. The issue we ran into with this montor arm is not really a "full range of motion" arm. Its range of up/down movement is much more limited than you find on other, more expnsive arms - at a guess, I'd say you only have 20 or 25 degrees of motion you can move it through. This meant that we couldn't actually mount the arm where we wanted to on her desk and had to find an alternative, which, after an hour of futzing around, we did and all was well.So, while this is a fine arm for the money and definately better than any others I've seen for this price, you do get some limitations that come with it. Overall, it's perfect for my small 17" secondary monitor, but if I were buying for my wifes monitor again, I'd probably buy another Ergotron LX like I use for my 28" main montor because of the overall range of motion it gives.

Great product, even if it is last years model

I absolutely love this LCD arm. When I was looking for a new LCD monitor, I was shocked to find that most of the LCDs on the market today do not have the ability to rotate to portrait mode. That feature is really only found on the Dell ultrasharp LCDs, which cost much more than most LCDs on the market today.After doing some research, I came across the Ergotron website and found the "new" model of this arm for double the cost of the one listed above. The model listed above is last years model, but the only real difference is the style/looks. I still say this arm is very stylish.In the box, you will find all the parts needed to mount the arm a variety of ways. The most common way is to clap it to the rear of your worksurface, but a grommet is also included so that you could drill a hole through your surface and clamp it to the hole.The arm is very strong (the manufacturer says it can hold up to a 20", but I am using a 22" samsung 226BW widescreen LCD with no problems). The arm can be lowered or raised 6-8" (maybe more), and the LCD can be tilted up/down, and rotated. All this can be done without having to move any cables.If you are looking for a great way to easily turn your LCD from landscape to portrait mode, this is a great choice. It makes reading documents (PDFs, websites, etc) much easier (especially if you have a widescreen LCD).

Versatile, well designed, well made, aesthetically pleasing product

The Neo-flex stand might seem pricey to some, but this is a case of getting what you pay for as it is well worth the money. This stand is versatile: You can remove the extension to shorten it and it comes with parts for either a surface edge or grommet mount. The machined aluminum parts and overall aesthetic of this LCD panel VESA mount are beautiful -- and made to last. The directions have no text, but surprisingly the drawings are so well done that I understood every step of the disassembly and reassembly process (I only did this because I shortened it and then changed my mind later: It comes packaged with the extension and surface edge mount version installed and ready to go). Every joint either pans, swivels or tilts. Nothing but praise for this item (my only minor complaint is that there are no spare parts included, so don't lose any unpacking).

Reiner Knizia is considered to be a master game designer.This AMUN-RE will sustain this reputation.It comes in a gorgeous package (like a lot of Euro games), it has clean, intuitive and easy to follow rules, durable components, beautiful mapboard. Unfortunately it is not playable by six players, but by five (which is already better than so many games that only takes four players). Anyway, with passing of tiem and commitments made by my group of friends, it's getting harder and garder to put six people on the table at the same hour, so a five-player game is usually enough...The theme is also irresistible: the pyramids of Egypt! Each player is a pharaoh battling to build more pyramids than his competitors and preserve his name for eternity.In less thatn thirty minute you'll be ready to play and enjoy.A sure bet.

Amun Re is a game of subtle strategy that is hard to master but fun to practice. My 8, 10, and 11 year old children have gone much further than I have in mastering the strategy. That is not to say that it is a game for children alone; it is a game for strategists of all ages.

If you like the Cattan games, you will like this one. It seemed complicated at first, but after the first round, we all got the hang of it. Several different winning strategies are possible, which is fun if you are playing with decent opponents. Don't drink too much while paying this one - you need your wits about you!

i found these bad boys on steepandcheap for $50 and even then i was skeptical about spending $50 fr a pair of thermals, well let me just say this , after owning them for about 3~4 years wearing them for weeks at a time in conditions ranging from mildly chilly nights around a camp fire to summiting the peaks for 14k ft mountains, the did great when working out and when just hanging out, and not going to lie and i know it sounds disgusting but it's the nature of things when doing extended backpacking trips....but i wore these things for 3 weeks straight covering between 10~20 miles a day on the northern part of the PCT and all of my other gear smelled like you wouldn't believe but these things stayed pretty clean all things considered and was about the only thing i wasn't cringing to put back on in the AM.so yeah, they are expensive but for how long they lasted me and how much i used them and how good they worked i think it's worth it, i bought a 2nd pair at full price because this product won me over so much.that said, they are pretty thin,like a proper tight, however i did notice that they kept me just as warm as the thicker ones i had in my sets but also allowed me to get my heart rate up without sweating, they do what they are supposed to brilliantly. so the thin comment is for those who are looking for a non-active thermal to sit at the bus stop in or go snow boarding in you may want something a bit thicker

Balazs i-Box Speed Bag Platoform - Knockout Red

I have an Everlast heavy bag/speed bag stand and the platform for the speed bag cracked after seven months of use. I did alot of reading on speed bag platforms and decided to try out the Balazs i-Box. The instructions were outstanding and I installed it on the wall of my garage - mounted on two 2x4 pieces of wood. There is no comparision between this Balazs product and the heavy bag/speed bag stand I was previously using. The Balazs i-Box is extremely sturdy and super fast compared to my previous stand. I had to re-learn the speed bag due to the increased speed. The old saying still holds true - you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

ok but not great

This watch has one major problem. The number 13 sounds exactly as the number 30. The number 14 sounds exactly like the number 40. The number 15 sounds exactly like the number 50; and well you get the idea. You can't tell if it is 5:13 or 5:30. It's rather annoying. It would also be nice if they had included a stop watch function. I just can't seem to ever find the ideal talking watch. I would be willing to pay more for a high quality talking watch but, it doesn't seem to be out there.

Great Watch for the Blind

My wife bought this watch since I am 100% blind. I love it and has no problems understanding the voice. Alas remembering which buttons do which feature is sometimes a problem. The only down side it the band can not be replaced by a normal band.

I love this watch!

I would give it five stars except three things:1) I agree with the gentleman who said that the difference between 15 and 50, 13 and 30, etc. is nonexistent.2) The second is that I found it very difficult to press the button for the dates.3) The third is that it totally died after a bit over a year and a half. I thought it was just a battery thing, but a new battery to not help. But I love this watch! I bought a replacement that I HATEDtsame brand), so I have since ordered a replacement of this model . It is great, particularly for those like me who are legally blind.
