Not enough pieces

I really really like lincoln logs. Everyone does. But, we bought this and received a big bin half full of lincoln logs. Why don't they fill up the bin? Also, the little roof was plastic, limiting the types of houses you can build. The old-style wood slates were better.

They surely know the Internet will take them back in history & all over the map; thus, they can easily discover that LINCOLN LOGS have been honoring President Abraham Lincoln since 1916 /AND/ continue to win not only 'kid appeal' but applause from an increasingly intergenerational group of "toy connoisseurs"!It happens I have some 'grands' that could build right out of their imaginations a more convincing "Prairie Homestead" ~ but that's what toys are all about, isn't it? The homestead comes in a bag with horse & some "real" cowboy types, and Reviewer mcHAIKU recommends that you buy it /with/ the Stagecoach Station in-a-CAN! That way, you can ALL get down on the floor & build this impressive two-story structure complete with windows . . . OR . . .
