Product Description
AEM Short Ram intake systems are an economical alternative to our Cold Air systems and deliver performance, value and ease of installation over any other short inlet intake. Our Short Ram intakes install easily under the hood and cost less because we use less material to manufacture them. During the development process, we found certain applications respond favorably to shorter inlet lengths over our longer Cold Air designs. For these applications (denoted in the search results page), we offer a Short Ram system only. We perform extensive temperature testing to locate the filter in the coolest area of the engine compartment, which allows our Short Ram systems to achieve the lowest inlet temperatures possible. Please refer to our temperature testing procedures for more information.

Great Sound

Instant bolt on performance. Sounds stock when driving normally, and under 3000rpm, but the moment your drop the hammer and hit the gas you can instantly hear the roar of your engine.Good buy!

Like I said in the pic , Beautiful intake , LOUD deep race tone, not high pitch ricer, very satisfied and highly recommended, the filter is not k&n like the company pic shows, its AEM dry flow

Cool BUT..

Its a good intake, sounds sweet and all BUT it doesn't fit my 00 Civic 100% right. The support bar used to attach it to the car frame doesn't make any contact with the car so its just hanging there. It also has three holes for sensors and a hose but none reach it. They give you two plugs for them but the third hole is just there so i had to make my own plug. Another little problem is that on the manual it says; NOTE : LEGAL IN CALIFORNIA FOR RACING CARS ON A SPEEDWAY AND NOT FOR CARS THAT WILL EVER BE DRIVEN ON THE HIGHWAY. Yet they give you the little plate saying its CARB exempt. So its illegal but it will still pass the smog test. I don't know but I'm a bit disappointed.
