spare tire holder

I wanted to use this for a 19.6 8 lug tire. I went to the manufactures web site and another person asked the same question, there reply was if you can get two lugs in it will be fine. There is no way you are going to get 2 lugs on this holder. I have been working on a bracket that will hold the 19.5 tire on there. I am going to be using this for my RV's spare tire. I might be welding a bracket on the unit to hold the 19.5 8 lug tire. Otherwise it is a very good construction heavy gage mount that would hold a regular 5 lug tire just fine.

Heavy duty tire mount

I found this tire mount for the front of my F-350 Ford to be excellent. The finish and construction is more than what I expected. You can pay more, but I don't think you will find a better mount for the money.

The product is well made but it will not fit my spare wheel with rim = R19x8.5 w/offset@56. It is a normal wheel nothing exotic about it, but for the offset value. The Mfgr states that will fit rim width of 9" or more but nothing about the offset which determines whether the product is compatible or not. With my Rim offset @ +56mm from the centre, creates a very deep recess that the the inner edge wheel to where the lugs contacts the axle. So my wheel did not mount flat onto the universal mount because it would hit the vertical bar. Had the Offset just lesser by 1/4", the rim would work perfectly so the edge of the wheel rim would not hit the vertical bar. So no fault of the product, just be vary of the rims offset figures. So I'm ordering a CBI model that will take my rim.
