Good but not what they used to be

I have worn cat boots for over ten years and they have always been the most dependable boots I've ever owned. Every pair I've owned has been comfortable from day one and lasted at least two hard years. They are typically more comfortable than any tennis shoe due to their extra foot room, padding, and ergonomic design. That said, this last pair I received have been slightly disappointing. They still seem well made and fit properly, but the material is thinner and stiffer than any of the other boots I have purchased from them. These have taken me a week to break in when normally there is no break in period for this footwear. After two weeks they still have not achieved the comfort level I would expect for caterpillar boots. They are still a good boot for the price but I will be trying on different boots for the first time in a decade when these break down just to retest the waters.
