Walking on stones

I have always had great respect for Clark Shoes; however these classic oxfords are not in the same league. Clarke is known for comfortable "walking" shoes--these shoes are like walking on stones with your bare feet; no shock absorbing quality at all. Though these shoes are great looking and appear to be well made for an amazing price, if you have any issues with your legs: hips, knees, feet, etc.--forget this model. I donated mine to the Good Will.

Original Review: 12/05/06--------------------------I've owned Clarks shoes all my life. Never been disappointed. A great deal @ $32. Your feet will love you after a long hard day.Update: 02/20/07----------------So, I've had these for almost 3 months now.. I am a bit disappointed now. I am starting to see some separation between the sole and the upper at the front of the shoe.. The shoe is comfortable but I expected it to be a bit more durable!
