These are high quality baseballs, don't be fooled by the "batting practice" label. They have a nice rebound and pop off the bat. It's a shame I can't get approval to use these during regulation games. They use this color in girls regulation softball, why not Little League. When the boys get better and are playing Babe Ruth and High School baseball, then let them use the standard white.My 9-12 yr. old boys are able to maintain focus on the ball for a longer period which has translated into more hits during practice. For me as a coach it's a win-win !!!The chartreuse color is spot on and what you see is what you get. I was expecting a yellow color and was very happy with these. I've tried spray painting some "shag" balls to achieve this effect but it wears off onto everything. Dirt wipes off the paint in a hurry.I put my initials on the "Diamond DBPY" baseballs just in case but there's no way these will disappear into someone's bag or bucket and without me noticing. I've already had two or three coaches ask me about these and where to get them.A+ product Diamond !!!!

These balls did exactly what I needed them to do. Let us practice when the sun would start to go down. It is also easier to see the rotation of the ball if you are working on breaking balls. I am not sure why it is so hard to find optic yellow baseballs. These are of the quality you would expect from Diamond.. Very good purchase.
