We received this filter as a baby shower gift about 9 months ago, and it has really worked well for us. We have 2 pets and have lived in both the very dusty southwest and very pollen-allergenic-y mid-atlantic and this filter has been beneficial in both environments. Additionally, this filter makes a lot of white noise which I truly believe is the cause of my babies fabulous sleep habits of falling asleep fast ans staying asleep through the night. I would, and have recommended this to others. Lastly, as a new mom, I buy everything on amazon, so the filters are pretty accessible.

confusing filters

Manul shows 3 filters: 'washable pre-filter', 'carbon filter' and 'hepa filter', yet only gives part number for washable pre-filter and hepa filter (which they confusingly suddenly call 'main filter'). Call Kaz - even more confused. Guy couldn't tell me what filters the unit needed, but he did know they were not in stock (whatever they were). Easy to buy the air-purifier - hard to buy the filters.
