4Easy to configure and use
By skyskier
Rack mount unit is easily configured and works well with Windows 2008R2 UPS interface. Front panel controls are minimal but sufficient for use. Have ridden through numerous voltage flicker events without issue where our previous interactive type UPS units have had miserable performance.

5These things perform, and the cost is very reasonable
By Nathan Kull
I have been deploying these units in various sizes for over 3 years now, especially in sites that have emergency generator power. If you have an emergency generator, these units will ensure that your expensive equipment gets very clean power even if the generator is not putting out the cleanest power. I have had no issues with these units in any way, every one of them has met or exceeded our expectations in the event of a power outage.PROs:- True ONLINE UPSs : This means that ALL incoming power is converted to DC and then back to AC which ensures that the equipment on the other side is always provided very clean and consistant power. These units also provide power during an outage with 0 switching time, very good if you have sensitive lab equipment that can't handle even the smallest hick-up. Most UPSs are switching UPSs which means that they just let the wall AC power flow through to the equipment, unless there is an outage at which time the unit has to switch to battery mode.- User Replaceable Batteries : They will die after time, it's nice to know that you can keep the equipment and just get new batteries.- Expandable with additional battery pack : If you need a longer run time, you can add another pack of batteries to this unit to extend the run time.- Expandable with card slot : Can talk on Network to broadcast power events to multiple pieces of equipment, monitor temperature, etc.- Have had NO issues with them what so ever, have deployed about 30 of them over the past 3 years.CONs:- Front panel lights show either load, or battery level, depending on operating mode ... Would be nice to see both at times.

5Works great in any weather!

We use these at remote mountain top locations with additional battery packs attached. So far we have been more than pleased with the performance.
