Love it!

I absolutely love this fan light kit. My daughter is 5 years old and her room style is shabby chic. This goes perfect! Every time any one goes in her room, the first thing they notice (of course I always turn light on : ) is light. Every one compliments me on it. The only thing I didn't like-and I still think it is on there, but I just can't find it-is that there is no chain pull to turn light on and off. It only works when you wire it through wall outlet. Other than that it is well worth the price for the wow factor you get.

This light kit is beautiful. I put it on a cream wicker fan, sold on here. I unfortunately did not read the description. I t DOES NOT have a pull cord to turn the light off. If your fan is not remote control or have a special wall outlet for light and fan it stays on or off with the fan. So we are having to unscrew the bulbs at night. All of my hanging pieces arrived broken, but the light has tons of bling without the teardrops. (sigh) I am shabby chic Victorian french country (whew) so this really spiced my 18th century rice bed up. Perfect with a few here's your sign moments. I ended up putting this in my office where the light is on anyway. They have one with a pull cord and I purchased that for my bedroom. I like vintage so the pull cord is a must for me, but this will work with two switches or a remote.

Muc heasier to install than I thought it would be!

I received my Fan Kit yesterday and suprisingly had it up in less than an hour. (Husband and I always joke that putting up light fixtures brings out the worst in us.) I was pleased to see how easily it fit into our existing remote control drop fan. We literally had no issues with teh installation.However, I'm only rating this fixture a 4 because:1) The color is much creamier than it looks in the pictures.2) The bottoms crystal piece came broken in the packaging.3) The instructions were pretty much non existent.I'm keeping the fixture because fortunately the cream color still goes with the room, we didn't really need instructions this time (maybe we're just becoming pros at light installation - wink!, and I am hot glue gunning the bottom crystal ball to the fixture so that I do not have to incur any return fees or the wait.All in all, its a really cute new accessory for our babies nursery and I'm very pleased at it's functionality.
