INGENIOUS Design and top quality experience

I bought this Audiovox DT102A DVD player with the car docking station set up brand new at Circuit City and had them install it 4 1/2 years ago. We also bought a pair of headphones and it came with a nice carry bag as well.My family has logged hundreds of hours on this player while traveling thousands of minivan miles over this time. It is durable and the coolest feature is that it pops easily out of the docking station to take into the hotel room, or wherever else to utilize as a true portable DVD player. Now how smart is that?!I paid about $900 for the whole set-up 4 1/2 years ago and am now buying a new car and searching for another one. It was worth every cent then and they are going for a great price now--wow!You will not regret this if you like the portability option.

We have had this DVD player for several years, and boy, has it gotten a workout!We purchased it with the car docking station, which was the reason we wanted it in the first place, but we have used it so much more than in the car. It has been camping, in doctor's offices, at sporting events, in meetings where children needed to be quiet, and much, much more.Being able to remove it from its docking station and use it with battery or outlet adapter has been truly a blessing. And using wireless IR headphones make it a wireless wonder.In fact, ours was stolen just recently from our vehicle, and I am looking for a replacement. I want the same thing, because we have loved it.

Very bad start!!

I have just purchased a DT102A from Best Buy and when I tried to use it for the first time it could not read any of the brand new DVDs I had just purchased and kept giving me a "disc error" message. It is now on its way back to Best Buy for an exchange.
