Powered by digital microprocessor-controlled, rugged stepper motor drives and laboratory grade sending units, full sweep electric gauges are the best gauges available. They combine extreme durability and readability of 270 degree sweep mechanical gauges with the easy installation and safe operation of short sweep electrics. Track tested and race proven, these units use precision senders to keep hazardous fluids out of the driver compartment, and perform gauge calibration and sensor diagnostics at power up for extreme accuracy, every time. FSS gauges (except for Cobalt and C2) also include a data logger output to use in conjunction with Auto Meter's own data logger. Auto Meter boost / vacuum gauge will measure pressure in either PSI or bar and manifold vacuum pressure in inches of mercury (Hg). Great Meter

I installed this on my Turbo Hayabusa because i wanted to know if I had any boost creep and to confirm boost level was where it is supposed to be. The Peak recall is perfect for that. I can't look at it under hard acceleration because at 400HP on a 500lb bike I have better things to do than to look at the gauge!! I can data log but then have to download etc just to see peak. This is quick and confirms 90% of what i want to know anyway. Push the peak button and it tells you peak boost, push both buttons and hold to reset. One complaint is that the tube has blown off a couple times and where i have it mounted on the inner fairing is hard to get at. Fixed by using a small zip tie on the connection. Another is the logging output. One reason I wanted it was to log boost from it with 0 - 5VDC analog output, but after some issues I emailed AutoMeter about it and they said it would not be accurate boost because of how the gauge zero's itself when powered up.
