Beautiful Color and NEC quality

I replaced an old 1995 NEC 21" tube monitor with this. The old 1995 monitor still had beautiful color when I switched, but I wanted a smaller form factor and something a little easier on the eyes.Only reason for four stars is it is somewhat pricey. Otherwise I love it.I tried a ViewSonic 22", but took it back because I hated the color and the rectangular native aspect ratio. It made everything look skewed. I work on a computer, I don't watch movies on it, so I need the native 1600 x 1200 aspect ratio.This monitor is more expensive, but if you want very good color representation in the standard aspect ratio (good for picture rendering), then this is a good monitor.I have been using it for about four months and am very happy with it. I actually bought two of them, one at work and one at home, and have had zero problems. I hope it has the same NEC quality as my old 1995 monitor. So far, so good.

Amazing Color and Contract - A great Monitor

I've had this monitor 3 weeks now and love it. Amazon delivered two days ahead of schedule and the monitor arrived with no dead pixels.The color saturation and contract is exceptional, producing crisp realistic pictures. In fact you will need to turn the brightness and contract down as the monitor produces more than you need. Very bright pictures. I use it extensively for photography and am very glad I got this monitor versus a wide screen. This format is also much better for surfing the web generally and for day to day use with Word, email and other packages. I do not do much gaming or movie watching, but what little I have done I have noticed no problem with refresh rate and have gotten no jerky movements.Installation is very easy and cables are supplied for three inputs. I used DVI and within minutes you can be up and running. There are two "native" modes with "N" being the best of the two and with minor tweaks of the brightness and contrast I was very happy with picture quality. There are also three adjustable modes and I took the time to run GretaMacbeth SW with Eye One Match for one of the modes and it did improve the image slightly, but frankly most will be very happy in "N" mode.Also love the stand and easy of adjustment. Overall I highly recommend this monitor over comparable Samsung and LG models.

Very good LCD monitor

This is a very good monitor, the best LCD one I have used so far ... text display is sharp and color fidelity is very good, not as good as Sun or Silicon Graphics CRTs, but it is closer than most LCD monitors. I pick this one over the NEC LCD2490UX2-BK simply it has 4:3 format since I use the computer for reading, not watching movies, and this format provide most usage for screen size.Most LCD fails the gray scale test and can't distinguish the subtle gradation of gray scale from back to white or any other primary colors from darkest to the lightest, this one passes where all my former LCD failed. The illumination is even in all parts of the screen, so it is suitable for Adobe Photo-Shop application if you edit photos.This model is no longer in production, the successive model is LCD2190UX2-BK which I will get one when the price lowers just for future use of 4:3 old schooled format.

I heard that these gates were the best on the market and I can safely say they are.I bought three and the first took at least 2 hours to assemble.The second and third took under 1 hour.What an excellent product, I ordered these first through Lowes and the pricing was a bit high, three gates with tax. $458Amazon $230 including shipping, but save you self the headache Home Depot also carries this product $45 each not including tax.You can save a bundle of money and still get a quality item.

Should call it "Adjust Your Wallet"

I bought 3 of these kits: one for a regular gate, one for a double-gate.The concept is great. But it won't last (unless you're in Atacama, where it rains once every few years).I noticed a small paint chip on the metal and a week later (we had some rain in the meantime) there was already some rust.I took one other gate apart after about 2 weeks and the inside of some of the pipes was already full of rust. I used some rustoleum (I got a clear spray at Home Depot) to protect the "galvanized" metal. Still shows rust.The double gate kit? It states easy as 1-2-3 with images. The problem is that there are no pre-drilled holes for the drop-rod kit, but you have to drill through the metal gate assembly yourself (of course, there's another spot for potential rust). I called the toll-free number (they have an answering machine) and when they called back they could not even tell me what drill-bit to use.

Great dog gate for large dog

We tried mulitple baby gates to keep our lab and St Bernard in the kitchen when necessary. They were all too short. We even increased their heights with lattice but it looked tacky. We installed this product between our kitchen and living room. It works great, looks clean and doesn't sag a bit. It can even handle the large dogs leaning and jumping on it. Please note that it was a little difficult to install, so if you are not handy with proper tools, hire a handyman who should be able to do it in about two hours.

Best Horn EVER!

OK I have a big truck, and don't want a wimpy horn...Who doesn't? About three years ago I bought a cheap set of WOLOs with a two plastic air horn set up and a small on demand compressor, and they sounded ok...for a while. Living in Alaska, where we are subjected to lots of crazy weather, the ole plastic horns deterioated and sounded worse than stock. Thats when I decided to "Go BIG or Go Home!" I purchased the cannonball express and the only complaint i have is they are so big i t took forever to find a place for them. I finally mounted them inside my bumper where it has a mount for a winch. These horns are HUGE! you need a spot approximaly 1ft wide x 1ft high x 1.5ft long to get them mounted in. Is it worth it? OH YEAH! These things will make an unsuspecting person wet themselves!!! AWESOME!

Extremely Loud Horn

This thing is great. Ive had it on my truck for three yrs. and its a BLAST. Literally. I got the air tank and the air pump for it. I mounted it in the best place I could think of. I took the spare tire off and mounted it under the truck. facing forward and have not had any problems with it. I have a lifted truck so the spare wouldnt of done me any good anyway, because I also have oversized off road tires. nobody even knows I have it. So if you dont want anyone to know you have this giant horn. I would recommend you mount it under the truck where your spare time is. It makes everyone jump. I love it.

Nice Construction, but not as loud as others.

I have owned these horns for a couple months now and would NOT recommend these horns.I have been buying and using air train horns on my trucks for over 20 years. Wolo has some fairly good products overall for being Chinese built. I bought this horn to replace another dual air horn and I thought it would be loud. It isn't.I have a very nice Airraid 200PSI 12v compressor and big tank to push my horns and suspension air bags. I have a 150psi regulator for the horns. My 11 year old shorter, smaller duals are louder than this triple unit. It came with a 1/4" air valve, which broke and leaked within one week. I contacted Wolo and they sent a new one right away. At first, I thought the low output volume was due to the bad valve, but the new one did not increase the airflow nor the loudness of the horns. I think the valves and manifolds into the horns need to be 1/2" to increase the air volume into the horns to increase the loudness. I can't fix that. Since I have had these on my truck a while, I can't return them so I am going to have to sell them on eBay or Craigslist- dangit.Do your homework and go with a something different.
