Our fully adjustable, Adjust-A-Gate system is ideal for repairing and old gate or building a new gate. Equipped with all necessary parts, our gate is assembled onsite to get the job done right the first time. Contractor series 3 Rail gate kit-Adjusts from 36”-60” wide. Great Gate

I installed this gate about (6) months ago on a six foot cedar fence I'm building around my property. It took about an hour and I had the frame installed in the opening. One thing I might comment on is that if you are using treated lumber it may be a bit heavy for a single gate five feet wide. They do make a double gate set for wider gates. This product is much easier to build than the old way of doing "stick built" gates. I would recommend this gate to a friend as long as they realize the weight limitations.

Beware. Not as pictured.

Warning... this is not the "Adjust-a-Gate" sold by Hoover Fence, but instead the one sold by Jewett-Cameron elsewhere on the site. It's also not black as pictured, but instead a putty gray. When shipping, the gates were damaged due to inappropriate packaging (they were shipped in their "shelf" box and had to be returned. See pix in customer pix section.

Adjust a Gates work great!

Bought these for new fencing that was being put up at my daughters home, they saved my husband a lot of work. They stabilized the gate and prevents the sagging that can occur on heavy wood framed gates. They worked out GREAT!

Affordable grow station

I have long wanted one of those fancy lighted grow shelves that you see in the gardening catalogues, but was put off by the price. I was therefore thrilled to find this shelf at such a great price. My husband hung a grow light from the top of each of the two shelves using some chain and a cheap clip from the hardware store and voila! A lighted shelf that allows me to start my seeds indoors when it's way too cold to even think about going out in the garden.Of course, that's not the only use of this shelf; it can also be used outdoors and I'm looking forward to using it, with the handy plastic cover, to gently transition my seedlings from indoors to out of doors. The plastic cover is great and quite sturdy; it's long enough that it reaches the floor (and then some), giving good insulation. Used in our (unheated and drafty) garage in the winter with the lights and heated seedling mats, the plastic covering kept it fairly toasty inside and also kept moisture in (important for growing seedlings). The front zips open and shut for easy access to your growing plants without having to remove the entire cover. The top shelf is handy for storing seed pots and tools; however, you'll want to avoid storing really heavy things up there (like bags of soil) as the shelf did bend a bit for me when I loaded several heavy thing on top of it. But for light things, it does just fine.In short I am simply thrilled to have found such a terrific product for a great price. With a little handywork, this shelf can provide you the "grow shelf" experience at a tiny fraction of the cost.

Really decent for the price

I bought this last spring to use out on my patio and I really like it. The fact that it was metal and not junky plastic was important to me, and I like the lower design as it seems less prone to being blown over when its windy. It set up easily and came together quite sturdy. I was missing a bolt out of the box but called the company and they sent one out right away, so no big deal. Like the other reviewer stated, the cover is extra long and seems to be of decent quality (at least as decent as a removable plastic cover can be, think the packages bed comforters come in) I used the cover only in spring and was pleased with the insulation it provided. My soil thermometer measured over 30 degrees warmer than the air temp on a sunny but cold early spring day. I used just the shelf all summer with pots on it and actually left the shelf outside all winter here in Wisconsin and it looks like new yet. Can't wait to get the cover back on and get this year's seedlings in it and off to a great start!**UPDATE**The cover was a casualty of a freak hail storm in April 2011. It was so sad to see my pots filled with ice balls and the cover shredded! I still use the shelf in my shed so it wasn't a total loss. I haven't decided if I will try to fashion some sort of cover out of plastic sheeting or just buy a whole new one for this years seedlings. I wish they would sell just the cover...

Recieved fasted, shelf was easy to put together. It is so nice to start seedlings in. Great shelfs. Worked just great!!
