These are beautiful reins; the only problem we had was that during a show, one of the chicago screws loosened up, and the back fell of. Thankfully, we had enough time to find another screw back and use that. Like anything else, you need to make sure that you equipment is secure. This can happen with any piece of equipment utilizing chicago screws, so double check the tightness before use. Beyond that, these reins are just wonderful. The weight is terrific and the reins are nice enough for show use.
