my baby's favorite formula

When switching from breast milk to formula, my baby suddenly went from a happy easy going baby to a fussy constipated baby. I tried almost every milk-based formula available at the grocery stores (with no success) before trying this one. This one gave me my happy baby back, no more constipation. It is labeled "low" iron, which means that it is fortified with about half as much iron as the excessive amount found in other formulas. I found that I could mix this up to about half-and-half with other formulas before the constipation set in again. I don't understand why this formula is not available through the stores; however, I found ordering it by the case through Amazon to be really convenient, with free fast delivery, and price slightly less per ounce than most of the formulas at the grocery store.

Great product. I'm supplementing this along with breast milk as I continue to nurse and it is the only formula that doesn't cause my baby to get constipated. He used to scream when he pooped and now I have a much happier baby, so we are all happier. I can't find this in any store so I'm so glad that Amazon carries this product.

Saved the day and brought back my baby!!!!

I wish I could give this 10 stars! After I stopped breastfeeding my sweet happy baby became a screaming unhappy baby. His poo became so pasty that he would scream and turn blood red in the face from trying to poop. The doctor told me to try prune, apple, or pear juice to "help it along". After a few days of giving him that every day he went back to screaming baby again. Things were so bad that he gave himself a hemorrhoid before he was even 5 months old! I tried EVERY formula that the stores sold and there was never any change. A friend of mine told me about high iron concentrations causing constipation in one of her friends babies and maybe I might look into that. After looking through every store in the towns around me I started searching online to see if this even existed. Luckily I found this on Amazon!! I started giving this to my baby a few weeks ago and the change is AMAZING! I have my sweet baby back!! The poo has gotten back to normal and this formula has made a WORLD of difference!!! If your baby is constipated or having issues having a bowel movement you should really try this!!! Really wish the typical stores carried this but Amazon is easy to order through and I have not had any issues and I have now ordered my 3rd case!

Great Light Modifiers

Acquired these to give me the in studio capability of narrowly focusing hair lighting, background light washing, and similar things.These are great units, although as they are honeycomb design, the grids themselves are a bit delicate. INSURANCE WILL PAY for hypoallergenic formula!!

My daughter used Alimentum and it stopped her colic due to acid reflux. I want to spread the word that most insurance companies will completely cover the cost of hypoallergenic formula, either by reimbursing you what you've spent on it, or if you get it as a prescription through your pediatrician.Many doctors don't know this, so they don't know to give a prescription for the formula. Call your insurance company today!

Lifesaver for parents and babies

Yes, it smells bad.No, it doesnt taste bad. I licked my hand when i spilled it once and it was not nearly as bad as you would think due to the smell.Yes it is extremely expensive, but you know what? It WORKS!When you are up nightly due to a screaming unhappy child, or worse, when you see your child suffering with an allergic reaction or blood in their stool or other awful side effects of a milk allergy or intolerance you are willing to pay any amount of money to make sure your baby is happy and to in turn get some sleep as well.This stuff works, and it is much cheaper then the next option of of Neocate or other amino acid based formulas.Even if your child doesnt have a diagnosed milk allergy, but is extra gassy, colicky, or constipated, give this a try.We started using this because my DD would get severe consitipation on ANY milk based formula. Even now at 10 months, when we tried again with regular formula we have the same problem, so back to alimentum we went.I really do not care about the price or the smell because the alternative is either having a malnourished child or one that is in pain, both alternatives are much more expensive to me.Before the breastfeeding Natzis get on my case- i know breast is an alternative BUT- not everyone chooses to breastfeed and not all babies do well on breastmilk.

It works. Damn it.

I have preemie twins, and unfortunately they weren't able to breastfeed due to their extended hospital stay after birth. They were given Neosure in the hospital and once they got home. They do still, in fact, receive two bottles of it a day. They have HORRIBLE reflux. They are taking the max dosage of Prevacid they can receive for their weight (I hate to do any medication, but don't judge me - they truly need it). Despite a consultation with a GI specialist, urologist and surgeon, nothing can be found wrong with them internally (thank God). However, their constant crying and discomfort has had me at a loss for a couple of weeks - even though we try to give them lesser amounts more often to avoid excess gas, burp after every ounce, AND keep them in an upright position for at least 20 minutes after every feeding. Well, I had purchased a HUGE lot of Neosure because I found a fantastic deal on it (about $8/can). So I really hated to ask the pediatrician about trying a different formula due to possibly wasting the Neosure, but since money isn't as important as my boys' comfort, I did. He said to try the Alimentum. I was not happy at all to pay $27 for a 16 oz can (That's why I knocked off a star - yes, it is less expensive on Amazon, but I didn't want to buy a case before trying. Even so, it is highly expensive formula). However, one day later - they are different babies. I knew their little personalities were that of smiles, but they have never had them for more than five minutes at a time. This stuff has made all the difference. That's where the "damn it" comes from. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad something works, but I was really hoping it might be a regular formula that treats fussiness or gas, but alas, it is this. In addition, it's thinner so they drink more of it. I plan to keep the bill for all of the money spent on this premium formula and they can start working it off when they are able to start doing chores. (that's a joke for people who don't have much of a sense of humor) Oh, and I think it doesn't smell nearly as bad as any other formula. I think it smells as if you made a soup of nothing but saltine crackers.

The hoodie performs well, it's well made and keeps you warm. The zippers are superb and overall quality is pretty good. Be aware of the sizes, I'am 187cm tall and weight almost 90kgs and medium size fits me nice.

Great Zip-up Hoodie!

Well I have been looking for a zip-hoodie for a while and this seemed like a good one.This works well down to about 40-45 degrees, which is very impressive in my opinion.Great quality and good craftsmanship. Its made in the USA so how can you beat that.My only gripe is the cost....but hey gotta pay for good stuff these days.This runs large so in my case I normally wear a large, I ordered a medium and it fit perfect.

No reason for Abbott labs to charge so much for Nepro

Nepro is basically a whey protein shake with added complex carbohydrates, corn syrup and oil. These are all readily available and inexpensive ingredients that you can mix yourself. Just be sure to exclude anything that is high in sodium, potassium, phosphorus and calcium, starting out with a high quality whey protein shake you can get at any health food or even costco or sam's club. You can also add a higher quality oil than the canola oil Nepro contains, such as flax seed or grape seed oil. In the end you will get a fresher and healthier drink for the renal patient at a much lower cost (6 to 10x lower).Another important reason for mixing your own drink is that for the diabetic, you can also adjust the sugar and complex carbs to suit a renal-diabetic patient.

Comfortable, well made...what else could you ask for?

I really love this hoodie. These days, I wear sweatshirts and sweatshirt jackets during the colder months more than any other style. But most of the ones you find in the local department stores are fairly cheap, lightweight and shrink like crazy. Not this Carhartt model. It's a real heavyweight, made with a real brass zipper and perfect stitching throughout. Yeah, it does cost more than the thin sweats with the cheap nylon zippers I've bought in the past. Doesn't matter because it's worth the price. Thus far it has withstood a good bit of wear without wearing out, it hasn't faded a great deal and it hasn't shrunk an appreciable amount after several washings. It's warm enough for all but the coldest winter weather and it's comfortable enough for lounging around the house. I think I'll buy another one....

This is a great product worth the money. Regarding size - I purchased the ladies small for a 10-year-old who wears a girl's 14/16. Size was perfect with a little room to grow. Very comfortable and performed well in low 40s under thin pants (like leggings and jogging pants). Washes well (in warm), didn't shrink, and still look like new. I will be purchasing more for the rest of the family.

Good leggings; not stirrip pants

These are actually leggings with stirrup bottoms, rather than stirrup pants, and are made out of good quality but relatively thin material. I gave them to my daughter to use as leggings because I wanted loose stirrup pants, not tight leggings, to use in colder seasons when I wear boots to walk my dogs.

Funky Fit, but the most capable vertical shoe I've worn

I've always loved Sportiva and Scarpa shoes because they fit like a glove, but my feet always hurt in weird places. The Galileo doesn't fit as well, but they climb vertical (Smith Rock) extremely well, I can stand on the smallest, dime edge, foot and forget that I'm standing on such a small hold. I get back to the ground after climbing long techy routes and I'm not even thinking about my feet. These shoes are almost like cheating, I think it has to do with the stiffness. These shoes are certainly stiffer than a lot of other shoes out there (miura, vapor, etc.) but not as much as a super stiff shoe like the Hueco. If you like the Anasazi Velcro then these are the same shoe with a stiffer toe. I highly recommend these to anyone that climbs hard vertical routes.

I've used mystique and c4 sole before, they are soft and very sensitive, this shoes come with onyxx sole, the stiffest sole I ever wore, they are very nice for thin face climbing almost like a platform, would recommend any model with onyxx if trying hard thin walls.

Decent all-arounder but has durability issues

I'd like to give a glowing review of this shoe, but unfortunately my pair hasn't held up well.Negs: the rand has pulled away from the uppers in several places from edging, and despite the application of contact cement and clamping, it re-separated a couple weeks later. For the first few uses, the pull tab had a scratchy bit that I eventually clipped off. The soles are wearing very thin below the balls of my feet as well. I would estimate I've climbed about 400 hours in these, but expected more. The heel doesn't fit me all that well (I have a medium-width foot, too wide for La Sportivas), and hooking is a bit dicey sometimes. They've been a very nice, squishy and workable shoe for gym climbing but the edging isn't spectacular on rock. Smearing is excellent.Goodness: I fitted these a bit tight and since they're unlined, they've relaxed to the point that they're extremely comfortable. I can walk around in them for hours. The stitched insole is kind to the skin. They fit at or slightly small relative to street size: I usually wear 10.5 and bought an 11 in these. The laces never broke, and the eyes all took lots of use with no widening. All leather components of the shoe are intact and would go for much longer.Final word: given the option of taking these to a re-soler or buying something new, I opted for Mad Rocks. I'm ready to explore some other brands. I'm not gonna pitch 'em but they'll definitely be the backup pair.Later edit: I wish I could change my rating a bit. The Mad Rocks I got have, unfortunately, shown me what I'm missing in the Coyote -- incredible smearing. If you'll be doing lots of gym climbing, the Coyote is a very nice shoe. It holds its own nicely outside too, but not for crack climbing. I picked up the Mad Rock Rampage and cannot recommend it at all for gym climbing... you slide right off the holds because its sole doesn't give at all.

Great grip, comfortable enough to leave on between climbs

I've had 5.10's for the last 10 years now and most recently a pair of these shoes (~4 years old). They are spectacular for long climbing days or indoor where you don't want to keep taking them on and off. The toe and edge are very good on small holds, but not quite like a pair of elf shoes would be. They smear very very well, and I have no problem stemming, chimney-ing or doing crack jams with them. They can be slightly loose for heel hooks, but really they are designed for comfort and too tight a heel isn't comfy long term. I only climb up to 5.11 indoor and 10s and 11s outdoor, so you can use that info to put this in context. I am sorry to see all the bad reviews just on sizing. Yes, climbing shoes are snug, and generally you have to break them in, so they are not comfy on the first try. My last pair of Spires took 3 weeks to shape to my foot, but they were a glove thereafter. Read up on climbing shoe sizing before you buy, or go to a walk in store. It's worth getting it right once, then you can buy easier online. My sizing suggestion for this type of shoe is to have your big toe bent, but your second toe just firmly touching. For 5.10s, that is usually the same as your street shoe size +- 1/2 size. All toes bent should be reserved for elf shoes in my opinion, and no toes bent is for beginners and long scrambles.

Excellent beginner/intermediate climbing shoes!

I purchased my Five-Ten Coyotes a month or so back and am super happy with them. I'm a newbie (climb 5.5/V0) who frequently has to scrape up the wall looking for toe-holds and these dogs stick and hold very well. The suede-like fabric required no break-in (no shoe-burn on my ankle, like my girl had with her La Sportiva Tarantulas) and the toes and tread shows almost no wear so far. My daughter even bought a pair 2 weeks ago and loves them too (she has wide feet).When buying be advised that the treads will stretch out a half-size or so over a few weeks, so make sure you get the smallest pair that you can uncomfortably fit into without socks (toes slammed in and cupped down, but not crossed). Since they lace all the way to the toes you can play with them when they are new and then cinch them tight up after some good use. The foot shape is normal and comfortable, and not aggressively shaped. I have size 10.5 feet and Coyote size 10.5 shoes work well perfectly after break-in.-JB

Much Better Fit for My Tele

My Tele's headstock was kind of getting stuck in my Hercules GS415B, so I got this model. Love it, very secure, very stable. Works great with any guitar. Great simple design and folds up very compact.

Strong. Stable. Accessible

This is the stand I have been looking for to hold my high-end, custom built OM guitar. It is a little big, maybe 'less portable' than a small floor stand, and heavier than a cheap rest-in stand of comparable style. But if you are looking at a Hercules stand, you are looking for that top-quality, rugged, not el-cheapo, dependable stand. This is it, hands-down. You can buy a $10 stand. You might even find it for $5 on a blowout sale. You're getting $2 worth of crappy metal. Do you trust your instrument to that? This is all one-piece, fold-out, design that you can absolutely depend on. It hold the instrument securely and is not awkward or loose at all. If your guitar costs more than this stand, then you should buy this stand. Protect your investment, without worry. Great product.

Take a stand!

I wanted a stand that wouldn't dump my bass (not the fish) on the floor whenever I bumped into it. This is the most stable floor stand I've found so far. It's built like a tank and looks cool too. Gets comments from other musicians who all approve. Check out all the other stands by Hercules.C
