Good, but required some modifications.
By C. Barker
I had this installed on my base 1998 Chevy Cavalier so I could use a hitch mounted bike rack. The instructions were clear and helpful. The instructions were mostly accurate and included directions for the following modifications for the hitch to fit. 1)Dropping part of the exhaust system (Muffler mostly) to accommodate one side. 2)The rear bolts had to be drilled to a larger size to fit the provided bolts. 3) The heat shield above the muffler had to be removed to accommodate the hitch. This last one made me a bit nervous because the instructions said to cut the heat shield to fit, but there was no way of doing that without removing the entire thing.I had this installed by someone who is a mechanic and builds derby cars so I was confident in their skills. With my limited help it took them about an hour to install. All of the bolts and spacers lined up perfectly with my car. The only negative is that the muffler now touches the hitch. Though I am told this will not cause any issues. The hitch itself is very stout and the build quality appears to be very good.
