I was a little worried about this purchase because some reviewers said it was cheaply made and only had one drawer. I received the chest and it had two drawers. It has good construction, although the drawers are a little loose. The wood is nicely stained. The handles are securely fastened. Overall, for the price, it was worth it.The chest comes with an envelope so you can get a personalized engraved plaque. I am pleased with the purchase.

This is a really well made chest. Better than the picture shows. The wood finish is well done. The size is perfect for the set that I have. The drawers slide very easily. The interior is well covered with the silver felting. And the hardware is elegant and practical. Definitely a great piece! The only think I wish is that it came with short legs. But that is a very miner and I am over all very happy with this piece! Thank you Reed & Barton!
