Excellent new adventure - plus Quicktime info
By Nikki Fay
First of all, here is the official word from the FAQs at Wild Divine site re the Quicktime problem:QuickTime 7.0 is a beta version program and they have not worked out all the bugs yet with different software programs. They are working on this and you should expect to find a downloadable driver here soon to correct this problem. That being said, it seems like (from the review just below mine) the Quicktime problem is "solved" now with the newest Quicktime update. NEVER trust a beta (wink).***********************************************************It's here and definitely worth the wait. I am enjoying Wisdom Quest even more than The Passage. While I took pleasure in the latest installment first as a game, I now use Wisdom Quest in Guided mode as an ongoing "energy training" tool.I am very pleased to have worked my way up to the extra hard level in just a month -- enjoying both the challenge and the accomplishment. I am sure I will return to game mode again in the future. It is always a pleasure to retreat to The Wild Divine.Wisdom Quest builds on skills and characters in the original Wild Divine -The Passage. While some of the many new features include 360 degree panning, guided activity mode (a click and pick selection of some of the more popular events) and LEVELS of difficult (Thank you Wild Divine!), the biggest improvement in my mind is the scope of the adventure. There is so much more to explore. The details seem richer, the vistas broader and the journey more expansive. Most of us were thrilled with the original Wild Divine and Wisdom Quest is definitely a worthwhile successor. There is more to do, new mentors to meet and old friends to reacquaint with. Help is available along the way for asking and if you really miss something an optional fairy will give you some hints.

Great New Expansion Pack -- Works with Quicktime 7.0.4
By Samuel Zane
So, after a few months of enjoying The Passage--the first release from The Wild Divine Project--I decided to check out this new release, which uses the same biofeedback hardware (you have to have The Passage's hardware to use Wisdom Quest). I am very happy with my decision.Wisdom Quest is kind of a continuation of The Passage, but several of the events are a little more challenging. The graphics are just as stunning as those in the first game, and there are a bunch of new mentors, including Deepak Chopra and Dean Ornish. One of the new mentors is a very cute, very helpful little girl. All in all, it's safe to say that if you liked The Passage, you'll like this release. The Wild Divine is definitely onto something, specifically marrying modern technology with an application that's both fun and good for you!Re: Quicktime, I'm using Wisdom Quest with Version 7.0.4, and having no problems. I'm not sure about past versions, but since 7.0.4 is free, it would appear that this compatibility issue is moot.

Wisdom Quest impressions
By Ed Wordsmith
I am not especially devoted to computer games, but everyone in my family is so I know what it means to be. In fact, I've played only a few PC games (Myst, for example) that I thought were worth my time at all. Then came The Journey to Wild Divine, which was recommended in Dr Daniel Amen's "Brain in the News" email newsletter. I am hear to say that this is the PC game I have been waiting for. I can't find the words to say how perfect it is--the screens are fabulously rendered in minute colorful detail (Journey and Wisdom Quest are honestly a visual treat), and the soundtrack has music so lovely that it leaves me speechless. The game itself is totally unique in my experience. I am no stranger to the idea of biofeedback and I've always wanted to use it, but now it is really here for me to do! I sit there and control the game play with my thoughts! OMG, it is like future shock--my family sits around with Nintendo controllers and keyboards manically blasting bad guys, while I sit there placidly challenged to lower or raise the actual energy level of my mnd/body. The game screen shows me what I need to do. For instance, the Journey and Wisdom Quest both put me in the first-person role of an archer. I use the mouse to draw back the arrow and release it, but I *mentally* control where the bow is pointed. In Journey, this archery skill is designed to help the player learn the mind and body 'language' for interacting with the game, but in Wisdom Quest, the archery task is harder, and progress through the game depends on it.Wisdom Quest has a way to set the play for easy/medium/or hard.
