I tried the two screwdrivers trick to disassemble my M1 carbine bolt. Got it apart but there was no way I was going to reassemble it without help. I'll NEVER do that again. I found out I've got to many thumbs. This tool works great, you do need a little practise, but well worth the price.

I purchased this same tool from another supplier. Once you use one you realize how essential it is if you're going to rebuild the bolt for an M-1 Carbine. I don't know if its possible without this tool or something very similar.I paid either $25 or $30. I only see one listed here for $99. Don't pay more than $30.

This tool is used to take apart and re-assemble the the bolt on my M1 Carbine. My first attempt was with my laptop walking me thru a utube video of the process. Worked perfectly. Do not attempt to disassemble your bolt without one of these tools.
