Excellent product
By F. D. Gillett
Purchased for my 88-year-old mother, it was just what was needed after a back injury.I had been hiring someone to come and assist my mother to take a shower. She was too unsteady to step into the tub then sit on her shower chair. This solved the problem by allowing her to sit on the bench that extends over the side of the tub. She could then slide into position and lift her legs over the tub.

Glad I bought it.

I bought this product recently for an upcomming back surgery.Started reading the reviews and noticed that some had a hard time putting it together and some felt that it was to lightweight to hold anything.I decided to go ahead and order it anyway. I work in hardware (and forgive me gentlemen)some of you should never attempt anything with tools.Got the product home and loved it. It was put together in a very short amount of time. There are no written instructions it just shows where it goes. If nothing else, the box also shows how its's put together.Had my surgery 5 days ago.I can with ease get in and out of a shower/tub combo. I have bought the duo med transfer bench. It's very sturdy, doesn't slip either. I had layed my showerliner on the seat so as not to get water all over the floor. Works great. My physical therapist asked if I had a shower bench and told her "yes" and where I had bought It. Not only did she like that I had been prepared for live after surgery but also saved alot of money at Amazon.com. I paid $47.00 on saleInsurance charges well over $100.00 for the same exact bench.

It's Great!
By D. F. Allen
It was exactly what we were hoping for. Hubby is a little heavy. The bench holds more weight than we thought. At least 300 lbs. Not sure if my tub or bathroom floor might be a little off level. The chair is a little off balance in the tub. I stuck a couple of folded wash cloths under one of the legs and it's fine. No movement at all. Hubby loves it. It's a big help getting in and out of the tub. He feels safe, confident, and clean!
