This muff is from a NY furrier, and as such, the rabbit fur is perfect, glossy, long and super soft. That's where the money is. The disappointment was that the inside is made of a taffeta/hard polyester which is a crisp fabric that is not soft. Your expectation is that when you put your hands inside something this soft, that the inside would be soft too. Frankly, I was disappointed by that.Would I buy it as a gift again? Yes, as you just can't find this product anywhere in the US. I searched and searched, so that's another reason to go ahead and buy it from this company.

I bought this for my 89 year old mother as she is always cold and can no longer get her fingers into either gloves or mittens. Not only does she love it..but EVERYONE at the adult day care facility she attends also loves it. I was amazed at the comments I got about it from both the older people who attend and their caregivers...of course we all fondly remember the muffs of our own childhoods.
