I was a bit wary of ordering this laser level pole without any other reviews being submitted.This pole is definitely a viable and less expensive option for laser level poles.It is adjustable using screw on segments. The bottom segment has a foot pedal to hold it in place while you slide the pole to the needed length. The sliding movement is for fine adjusting the height of the pole.It is sturdy enough. The graduation marks line up when the segments are screwed together.Has a few down sides but not deal killers.Sliding the pole to length is a bit unwieldy. It's also a bit of a pain to turn the tightening collar tight. I doubt it's anything an occasional do it yourselfer would find to be terribly annoying. Professional users, I imagine, would get tired of it pretty quick.One final downside that I have come across is that the rubber top can sometimes leave a dark mark on the ceiling. Make sure it's clean or put a clean rag between the pad and the ceiling.The pole supports both of the most common thread sizes for laser levels. The mounting piece looks big enough to handle a variety of laser levels. I use a Johnson laser level so fitment is not a problem. All the pieces come in a purpose made bag for easy storage. The material doesn't seem like it could take a major beating though.Not sure what else to add. It's easy to use and I think it would be great for DIY type people. Pro users would be better served by something more sturdy/expensive.
